My Johari Window Open Self Blind Self

This document contains a student's Johari window self-assessment. The Johari window divides personal traits into four categories: open self (traits the student and classmates identified), blind self (traits only friends identified), hidden self (traits only the student identified), and dark self (traits neither the student nor classmates identified). The student was surprised to learn how classmates described them. The student also realized they have more to learn about themselves and need to show more of themselves to others. In conclusion, the Johari window teaches that people can have different perspectives on personal traits and that self-awareness is important for self-improvement.

Answer the ff. questions:
1. What something new about yourself did you learn out of this activity?

There are some Traits / Adjectives that my classmates described me that I wasn’t aware of. I
kind of feel happy that they also see me that way. I also learned that there are few traits of me
that I don’t really show to other people and now I know that I still have to do many things in
order for it to change.

2. In sum, what does the Johari Window teach us?

The Johari Window shows the different perspective of people and ourself to our attitudes and
traits. It shows us what people see about us and what they don’t. It also shows what traits are
we lacking and what we have to do in order for people to see the better side of us.
