Visa Request for Family Caregiving

The applicant, AAA, is requesting a visit visa to Spain to care for his brother BBB, who suffered a left frontal intraparenchymal hematoma from a work accident and is currently hospitalized at Hospital Universitario de La Princesa in Madrid. BBB's wife works full-time and cannot care for him, so AAA has been asked to help BBB recover from his injury as his caregiver until he is released from the hospital in early November. AAA has included a certificate from the hospital supporting his request and a bank statement from his sister-in-law to demonstrate financial support during his visit.

Dear Ma'am/Sir,

Greetings!
I, AAA, am an applicant for a visit visa to Spain because I intend to visit and be the care
giver of my brother BBB who is currently admitted in Hospital Universitario de La
Princesa in Madrid because he was diagnosed with left frontal intraparenchymal
hematoma due to an accident in his work on July 20, 2020.
According to his attending physician, my brother might be released from the hospital
on the first week of November. Because of his current condition, he needs someone to
take care of him and to help him to carry out his basic daily activities while recovering
from his bad health condition. However, his wife, CCC, Spanish citizen, is a full-time
and stay-in domestic helper. Hence, they requested me to visit my brother and be his
care giver while recovering from his current condition.
The aforesaid hospital issued a Certificate to support my request for a visa. I enclosed
the said Certificate together with my application.
Moreover, I know that part of the visa application is to show an Income Tax Return
and/or Bank Statement, which unfortunately I do not possess. Rest assured, however,
that my above-named brother and sister-in-law will provide for my financial needs for
my visit to Spain. I attached here a copy of my sister-in-law's bank certificate for
reference.
I am hoping that you would grant my request for a visit visa. Hoping for your kind
consideration.
Thank you.

Sincerely,

AAA
