PROCLAMATION OF PHILIPPINE INDEPENDENCE

CONCLUSION //
INSIGHTS
Before our personal insights, let's go over the
main points about the topic first.
CONCLUSION
PROCLAMATION OF PHILIPPINE INDEPENDENCE

SUMMARY
* • The declaration of Independence was a result of the
hardships, oppression of Filipinos under the
Spaniards and their hunger for freedom. Trigger
points also involve the death of Jose Rizal and the
three martyr priests.

* • The declaration of independence also calls for the

leadership of the founded republic under the
dictatorship of Emilio Aguinaldo.

* • Filipinos did not just stood around in idle but fought

their way to freedom as stated in the declaration.
01
CONCLUSION
PROCLAMATION OF PHILIPPINE INDEPENDENCE

INSIGHTS
• The revolution and hunger for freedom of Filipinos are driven by
the oppression and abuse of the Spanish regime.

• It is a sad truth that although Philippines have earned their

freedom from the Spaniards, this is only for a short period of time
because the Americans and Japanese came to colonized the
country.

• Majority of Filipinos, including us, have not really understood the

real symbolism of the elements of the Philippine National Flag but
now I hope we do.
CONCLUSION

02
PROCLAMATION OF PHILIPPINE INDEPENDENCE

INSIGHTS
Symbolic celebrations were made through the years to
acknowledge our victories and struggles against subjugation.
It is good to pay tribute to our heroes and continue to celebrate
Independence Day but as citizens of this country, may we not forget
our fight towards true independence.
We would not achieve growth and development if we maintain a
mentality of toxic attachments and dependencies. Citizens rely too
much on the government instead of executing changes we, ourselves
can make.
