Write Down The Shape Functions For A 4 Noded Quadrilateral Element

The document is a model exam for a finite element analysis course. It contains questions that assess knowledge of fundamental finite element analysis concepts and procedures. Some of the key topics covered include: defining different finite element types like CST and quadrilateral elements; deriving the finite element equation, strain-displacement matrix, and jacobian for 1D elements; listing software packages and defining post-processing; calculating natural frequencies and deflections of beams; deriving the constitutive matrix and element stiffness matrix for triangular elements; evaluating integrals and shape functions; defining isoparametric elements; and using the Rayleigh-Ritz method to solve a beam problem. The exam has three parts testing concepts, derivations, and applications of finite
