MINUTES OF THE SECOND REGULAR SESSION OF THE SANGGUNIANG BARANGAY OF
CAMAMBUGAN, STA.BARBARA, ILOILO HELD AT THE BARANGAY HALL ON MAY 15, 2016 AT
9:00 A.M.

The meeting was called to order by the Presiding Officer at 9:00 o’clock in the morning.
A minute of prayer was led by Kagawad Henry Sulleza.
Since there is an attendance sheet being signed by the members of the Sangguniang
Barangay as they come inside the session hall and the presence of a quorum was determined,
the roll call was dispensed with.
The minutes of the previous session dated May 1, 2016 was read. There being no
corrections offered, on motion of Kagawad Henry Sulleza, and duly seconded by Kagawad Diego
Cordero, the minutes of the previous session was adopted.
Committee Report:
1. Kag. Cano informed that the BHW will have a seminar at the Conference Hall, Sta.
Barbara on May 20-22, 2016. Teresa Santiago, Melvin Paniagua and Dominica
Sillorequez will attend the seminar.
2. Punong Barangay informed that ABS-CBN has visited the barangay to interview
regarding dengue cases. Sta. Barbara has the most no. of dengue cases in Iloilo; the
barangay has five recorded cases.
Business of the Day:
1. End of May flower will be on May 31. Snacks will be shouldered by Punong Barangay
and Barangay Treasurer.
2. The body of the council agreed that during rainy days, concrete pipes will be added in
deep well project in the lot donated of the late Hon. Rodolfo Delgado.
3. Foot walk project will made of program of works within this week and will be
implemented.
4. The body of the council agreed to buy a Lapida for the lot donor Zozimo Vega.
5. Punong Barangay reminded the zone leaders for the collection of death for the late
Prudencio Suner from their household members. Since honorarium will not be a
withdrawed until the burial on June 4, Punong Barangay will provide 2, 000 php for the
bereaved family.
There being no more topics to be discussed, on motion of Kagawad Irenea Cano and
duly seconded by Kagawad May Gorantes, the meeting was adjourned at 11: 45 AM.

corrections offered, on motion of Kagawad Irenea Cano, and duly seconded by Kagawad Henry
Sulleza, the minutes of the previous session was adopted.
Privilege Hour:
1. Mrs. Janet Samaniego, Midwife II, informed that the Red Cross conducted a meeting last
May 20-22, 2016 and Brgy. Camambugan BHWs were one of the participants. The
purpose of the meeting was to reduce Dengue cases in the barangay. The BHW
members were required to submit an Action Plan to Red Cross office. Mrs. Dominica
Sillorequez, BHW, reported their prepared plan entitled ‘Epidemic Preparedness and
Response Plan’ and was explained by Janet Samaniego.
2. Kagawad Cano informed that the BNBL of the barangay will join during the recess of the
Day Care to avail in the feeding program. Mrs. Gina Argenal, DCW, said that the BNBL
will register in the MSWD so that they can avail in the feeding program.
3. Mrs. Argenal requested to add 1 table for the Day Care Class. She has 25 Day Care
enrollees. The body of the council agreed that the table in the Brgy. Hall will be
renovated for the Day Care.
Business of the Day:
1. The body of the council agreed that the General Assembly meeting will be held on June
19, 2016 at 1:30 AM.
Agenda:
1. Information Dissemination regarding Dengue
Visitors: Red Cross personnel
2. The Brgy. organized the EO “Organizing of an executive updating the Brgy. Disaster
Risk Reduction and Management Committee and Providing Guidelines”

Business of the day:
1. Brgy. Assembly Meeting will be held this afternoon at 1:30 PM. Red Cross personeel will
host the program.
Agenda:
a. to reduce/prevent Dengue cases in the barangay
b. Information dissemination regarding Dengue , Zika Virus and others
Punong Barangay required the zone leaders to inform their members to attend
the Assembly.
2. The zone leaders are required to collect death aid for the late Alejandro Saloma. 100
php will be deducted on July’s honorarium of the Brgy. Officials.
3. There will be a meeting that will be conducted by the MBDRRMC on June 21,
2016 at 8:00 AM at Brgy. Duyan-duyan, Sta. Barbara. The meeting will be
attended by Punong Barangay Suacillo, Kagawad Sulleza and Kagawad Simpao.
There being no more topics to be discussed, on motion of Kagawad May Gorantes and duly
seconded by Kagawad Fernando Ganat Jr., the meeting was adjourned at 10: 45 AM.

EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 14 S. 2008
ORGANIZATION OF THE BARANAY HEALTH EMERGENCY RESPONSE TEAM (BHERT)
WHEREAS, Section 16 of RA 7160 provides that LGU shall ensure that the general
welfare of its constituents shall be duly protected;
WHEREAS, pursuant to DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2003-95 date May 7, 2003, it is
hereby enjoined that all Punong Barangay cause the creation of the Barangay Health
Emergency Response Team (BHERT) in their jurisdiction;
NOW THEREFORE, I, Domingo S. Suacillo, Punong Barangay of Barangay Camambugan,
Sta. Barbara, Iloilo, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby create the Barangay
Health Emergency Response Team (BHERT) to be composed of the following:

Section 2. Powers, Duties, and Functions. The BHERT shall perform the following
functions:
1. Conducts visits to puroks with increased number of cases.
2. Keep a line listing of persons affected.
3. Follow up cases treated at home.
4. Report to the “Municipality Task Force” against infectious diseases.
