Observers guidelines
The Observers are requested to follow the below guidelines.
1) The Observers are requested to report to the test center one day before the day of the examination to the
Chief Superintendent.
2) The Observers are requested to ensure all Covid related procedures are Displayed at test
center and followed while the test in progress every day.
3) The Observer shall have discussions with Chief Superintendent of the Test centre about the seating
arrangement in various Laboratories of the Test centre as per the instructions, display of seating
arrangements and direction sign boards to examination Laboratories.
4) The Observer should ensure that the Invigilators will be sent to the respective Laboratories by 7.30
A.M./1.30 P.M. with (i) Seating Plan of the Laboratory, (ii) Photo Identity Sheet/Nominal Rolls and iii)
Serial numbers of client systems in the examination laboratory for guiding the candidates to their seats. The
candidates will be permitted into examination Labs from 8.00 am and 2.00 pm for FN and AN Session
respectively.
5) The Observer shall strictly ensure that no candidate is allowed into the centre after 09.00 A.M. for the FN
session and 3.00 P.M. for the AN session.
6) The Observer should ensure that the Invigilators make the announcements as given in the guidelines supplied
to them before the commencement of examination.
7) The Observer should go round the examination Labs as frequently as possible to satisfy themselves that the
examination is being conducted smoothly and fairly.
8) The Observer may note that candidates are allowed to leave the hall only at 12.00 Noon/6.00 P.M for FN and
AN Session respectively. He/ She should supervise that, the invigilators should go round and collect the
Filled in Online Application Forms along with attested copy of caste certificates (in case of SC/ST Category
only) and Rough Sheet from the candidates. Only after the invigilator is satisfied that all the documents are
received, the candidates will be allowed to leave the hall.
9) No candidate will be allowed to leave the test centre once he/she is allowed into the hall till the examination
time is over. Even in the case of candidates involved in malpractice, they will not be allowed to leave
the test centre till the end of the examination.
10) The Observer should be present at the time of sealing the Filled in Online Application Forms along with
attested photo copy of caste certificates (in case of SC/ST Category only) in the office of the Chief
Superintendent.
11) Observers shall ensure that unauthorized persons should not enter into the examination Labs during conduct
of examination.
12) Maintain a diary of events on Examination Session along with TA, DA & Remuneration bill and send it to
the Convener.
NOTE: Instruct all the Invigilators in the test centre to verify and confirm that all the necessary
entries on the Photo Identity Sheet and Filled in Online Application Form are properly made by the
candidate.
Please send the TA / DA & Remuneration Bill, along with the Train Tickets and Lodging Receipt to the
Convener, AP EAMCET -2020, Ground Floor, Administrative Building, JNTUK, Kakinada for the final
settlement.

3. Did they hire any computers from external agency and if so how many.
4. For the above-mentioned strength, is the seating arrangement done according to specified norms.
5. Whether all the invigilators, appointed in that test centre, are employees of that test centre only.
8. What is your general assessment with regard to the appointment of invigilators in that test centre
and also their ability in guiding candidates?
10. Does the test centre has sufficient toilets and if so are they maintained properly?
12. Are there any ceiling fans (in working condition) in the examination labs?
13. Is the test centre well protected and demarcated from other surroundings?
14. Is there any free access into the test centre to outside people?
15. How many times did you go round the various examination halls?
17. Number of cases where technical problems (Computers/ LAN) noticed at the test centre?
18. Did you observe that the examination in the morning and afternoon sessions is commenced as per
the specified time?
19. Are there any candidates, who have been allowed into the examination hall after commencement of
examination in both sessions?
20. Did you observe any traffic jam around the Test Centre?
21. Did you observe any mistakes committed by the Invigilators / Chief Superintendent?
22. Do you recommend this test centre for APEAMCET for the next year?
