Amanda Kaercher

​As the saying goes, teaching truly is a work of heart. Teaching is not about test scores
and meeting standards. While that is important, teaching is much more. It helps the
world become a better place by showing our students the world can be a better place. It
shows them what is happening in the world and how people are reacting. More than
that, however, it teaches them how they can react. They are in control of themselves
and can inspire others. Children are capable of so much more than many adults give
them credit for. They have unbiased minds, kind hearts, and find joy in the little things.
