The number 1 reason most eCommerce businesses fail is they don't plan for growth.

Sounds straightforward, right?

...But the reality is that if you don't plan for growth, your business won't be able to handle
it.

Each of the five elements I talk about in the guide need to be in place for you to
successfully scale your business.

It's a bit like playing a game of Jenga, all of the blocks support each other, and if you take
one away, the whole thing comes crashing down.

This happened to me when I boosted my traffic from 100 visitors a day to over 1000, the
site fell down because the software and the server couldn't handle the traffic.

Even worse, when I had upgraded the hosting and the website, the conversion rates
plummeted because the checkout and payment integrations began to fall apart and we
were losing customers into a checkout black hole.

I haven't even mentioned the products I could have sold a million times over if only we
could get more of them at the time, or the orders we had to refund because we couldn't
ship them out fast enough...

The list of frustrations goes on...

Ask yourself this question, do you have a growth plan in place for all of the critical areas
of your eCommerce business?

EMAIL 3 - OFFER HELP

Hi {{ subscriber.first_name | default: "there" }},

I wanted to reach out to you to find out what you thought about the free guide you
downloaded 2 days ago.

If you read the guide, by now you know about the 5 mistakes that are killing eCommerce
growth.

I made all five of these errors when I was growing my business, and once they were fixed,
it ultimately was a big catalyst for us breaking through to making over £300,000 every
single month, which, if I think about it to this day still blows my mind.

Just curious, are you looking to get more traffic and scale your eCommerce
business? I am assuming you are since you downloaded the guide.

Where are you at in the process? If you don't mind, just respond to this email and let me
know.

I look forward to hearing from you,

Colin

Hi {{ subscriber.first_name | default: "there" }},

I know that subject line is crazy, but what I am talking about is this company called
Dolphin Music, a Liverpool based eCommerce company.

The year was 2007, and I sat down with the MD of Dolphin Music over coffee to discuss
growing and scaling eCommerce so we could learn from one another.

He was at a place where his eCommerce business was doing £1m per month, and here
are the 3 things I learned from him...

1. Picking and Packing. Streamlined processes for picking and packing are essential
to minimize errors and increase your capacity to process more orders.
2. Inventory Management. Your capacity for growth is highly dependent on your ability
to have the right product in the right place at the right time at the right price and in
the right quantity.
3. Channel Integration. Syncronizing inventory across multiple channels minimizes
stock-outs and can fuel growth. I implemented a multi-channel solution (website,
eBay, Amazon) and grew my business by 30% overnight.

But more importantly, just want to make sure, wherever you are at on your journey to
growing and scaling your eCommerce business, make sure you plan for growth so you
can scale your capacity as your business grows.

Thanks again,

Colin
