INTRODUCTION

The socio-economic impact of this study will clearly state its relevance to the
external aspect of the business.

OBJECTIVES
a) To determine if the projects provide for a positive effect especially integrity
and policy-adhering business organization in the community;
b) To follow the rules and regulations set by the local and national government in
proper tax payment that will improve the food businesses in the country;
c) To provide job opportunities to Filipinos especially those who are involve in
food processing;
d) To follow the corresponding business ethics for both the employer and
employee in the workplace; and,
e) To comply with all the requirements in sanitation including its proper waste
disposal specifically in the line of food business;

B. SOCIO-ECONOMIC CONTRIBUTION & SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

EFFECT ON THE COMMUNITY

Every business establishment will be of great help for the growth and
development of the community. These will only be possible if every entity will be
responsible enough to perform their duties and obligations to their customers,
community and to the government.

Balisusò offers Filipino cuisines are chosen as the main products as a way to
celebrate the connection with the country’s long-running culture and to raise
awareness for the different dishes served all around the nation. Through this, it is
believed that this would improve the appreciation that the people would have with
their own country and history. The business aims to be an example of good practices
to earn the trust of the people in the community, establishing solid relationships with
its customers.

PROPER TAX PAYMENT

Balisusò will contribute to the earnings to the government by following the


rules and regulations set by the local and national government in proper tax payment.
Through this, the government will be able to perform its functions including the
continuous support and assistance to the business industry, projects for the community
such as building infrastructures, public schools and hospitals and other indispensable
projects that will benefit the people.

EMPLOYMENT GENERATION

The business will provide job opportunities to many individuals especially to


those people who have great passion in food preparation. Balisusò will help to lessen
the rate of unemployment and number of below average people. The eradication of
poverty will help to solve social problems like juvenile delinquency and malnutrition.

ETHICS

The business aims to create a harmonious environment for the workers. A


good relationship between the employer and workers lead to a successful business.

As a part of the food industry, the business plans to set an example of good
practices with its decisions by the management for the employees, and most
importantly, the customers. By committing to the high standards in service and ethics,
it hopes to be able to improve further the trust that the masses have with this line of
business.

ENVIRONMENT CONSERVATION

Balisusò will be an environmental-friendly establishment by means of


assuring that the processes involve in the operations will not involve procedures that
may possibly harm the environment. The business will observe proper waste disposal
in order to maintain cleanliness and orderliness. This will also help to lessen pollution

that causes different diseases and health problems present in the Filipino society. The
business proponents will allocate budgets to sustain the execution of waste
management in its operation. Moreover, Balisusò will follow each and every rules set
by the management of Circuit Lane Makati. Since Makati City promotes a clean and
green environment, Balisusò will participate in each campaign held by the local
government.
