ABOUT THE PATTERN 

o The measurements of the doll depend upon yarn weight and hook size 
o The doll can’t stand on its own 
o Despite the choice of yarn size, you should adjust the hook size to avoid the stuffing from coming 
out between the stitches. To make a tight crochet, you can use a hook size half size or one size 
smaller than the hook recommended on the yarn label 
o This pattern is spiral crochet unless it is advised otherwise 
o This pattern is designed to make decorative dolls. It is not intended to be used as a toy for 
children under 3 years old because it has small parts that can be swallowed by toddlers. If you 
want to use it as a toy, you must always use safety eyes because they have a lock to prevent 
them from falling out. Also, avoid using small parts such as buttons when creating this doll for 
toddlers. Be sure to sew your seams well to prevent parts such as arms and legs from being 
ripped or torn off

DRESS 

 
The dress is made with dark blue and white yarn, with 2 mm hook. Crochet in rows to row 9 (included) 
and in circles from round 10 to the end. While you crochet in rows, at the end of each row chain one 
and turn. Start with white yarn. Change between the two colors at every third row, do two rows in one 
color and change to the other color. 
Row 1. ch 25 (White) 
Row 2. Start in the second chain from the hook, (sc 2, inc)x8 (32). Ch 5 before turning (button loop) 
(White) 
Row 3. sc 5, ch 4, skip 6, sc 10, ch 4, skip 6, sc 5, ch 1, turn (28, 20sc and 8chains)Change color to dark 
blue. (White) 
Row 4. Sc across. 4 sc in the chain 4 spaces, ch1, turn (28) (Blue) 
Row 5.Sc across (28) Change back to white color. (Blue) 
Row 6. Sc across (28) At the end of row 6, ch5 (the second button loop)(White) 
Row 7. sc 28 (28) change to blue yarn (White) 
Row 8-9. sc 28 (28)(Blue). At the end of row 9 do not turn, instead, bring both sides together and slip
