Tractor Fiat 480 Firing Order

This document provides specifications for the Fiat 8035.06 diesel engine used in the Fiat 480 tractor, including its 85 HP power output, 3-cylinder configuration, direct injection, and firing order of 1-3-2. It explains that diesel engines use heat from air compression to ignite fuel rather than a spark plug. The engine has a displacement of 2,710 cc and produces maximum power of 55HP at 2,500rpm and maximum torque of 185NM at 1,500rpm.

WORKING PRINCIPLE:

Diesel, is an internal combustion engine in which ignition of the fuel is caused by

the elevated temperature of the air in the cylinder due to the mechanical
compression (adiabatic compression)

Internal combustion heat engines work on the principle of the ideal gas law:

Raising the temperature of a gas increases the pressure that makes the gas want
to expand. An internal combustion engine has a chamber, which has fuel added
to it which ignites in order to raise the temperature of the gas.
