SALVATION ARMY

BOROKO PRIMARY SCHOOL

Newsletter 9th of December, 2020

Dear Children, Parents/Guardians, Greetings in the Name of Our Lord Jesus Christ. It is
difficult to believe that this is the final newsletter for 2020 and that the school year is
coming to its close. Thank you to you all for your consistent support for the School for this
year. Without your support and prayers, this school would not be able to do all it does. It
is our prayer that you and your family enjoy this Christmas Season and that God will
protect you during the holidays.

In the months of November and December the school has celebrated Prayer
Breakfast, Children’s Universal Day and closing of the school year Awards Day
from 3rd -4th December.

Grade 7 Cancer Awareness

Very interesting to see our grade 7 students in the Cancer Awareness within the
school by visiting and talking to the students at each level. Brilliant awareness
about cancer was done and this awareness concluded with the theme:’ Drop A Kina
to Save a Life’ during the Children’s Day on the 20th of November. This Drop A
Kina Box was handed over to the Cancer Foundation Rep the following week.

Children’s Day was celebrated with entertainments by teachers and speech on the
theme: Invest in a Disciplined Child for A bright Future’. The message that the
children were encouraged to keep was ‘DREAM / DISCIPLINE’.
