SECTION A: PRIOR ARRIVAL LOAD PORT


(This section should be completed at least 24 hours prior arrival load port Compliance with this section should be communicated to the office by e-mail)

(Ensure all valves are secured after testing. Testing to be carried out while the
vessel is stationary and in calm waters; as per publication "Prevention of oil
spillages through Pump room sea valves " )

8 Confirm stripping pump is lined up for remote operation.


CARGO TANKS
9 Heating coils not in use have been blown through & blanked
10 Cargo tanks are inerted and maintained at positive pressure
11 H2S contents checked and recorded in Port log
12 Oxygen content of Cargo Tanks < 8%
13 Check and ascertain tank domes, ullage ports,Tankcleaning machine's
assembly and manhole covers/gaskets/seals integrity (no leaks).

GAS MEASURING INSTRUMENTS


14 Fixed gas detection equipment in accommodation operational
15 Sufficient stock of appropriate measuring tubes is available.
16 Personnel Gas meters, Oxygen analysers, multi-gas detectors, Explosimeters
calibrated and ready for use?

CARGO VALVE HYDRAULICS SYSTEM


17 All hydraulic lines free from leaks
18 Check hydraulic oil Level for valve system & replenish
19 Hydraulic hand Pump kept ready for use Valve timings correct and position
indicators operating satisfactorily

VENTING SYSTEM
20 Correct level and content in liquid breaker (anti freeze added)
21 Correct level maintained in the deck seal ( Heating "on" if required)

24 Where fitted ensure tank pressure sensors are set at correct values
