If Betty had liked her meal, she would have left a tip.
4. Lynn’s car broke down on the way to work, so she hitchhiked to work.

5. Sam saw a black bear in the woods and he started to scream.
If Sam hadn’t seen a back bear, he wouldn’t have started to scream.
6. When Pam heard someone breaking into her house last night, she hid under her bed.
If Pam hadn’t heard someone breaking into her house, he wouldn’t have hid under the bed.
