Auspicious Muhurat for Opening a Shop

People who want to open a shop hope that their


shop runs successfully. But everyone’s desire is
not fulfilled. There are people who have to close
their shop within a few months of its
inauguration.

Astrologers say that before opening a shop


people should consider auspicious muhurats so
that nothing bad can happen and their business
runs successfully. Inauspicious muhurats can
cause a business to run in loss.

Auspicious muhurats provide positive things


related to the shop whereas inauspicious muhurats may cause many problems. So,
people should start a new shop in auspicious muhurat only or wait for the same. In
this article we will put some light on the auspicious muhurats for opening a shop.

Consideration of nakshatra
According to astrology nakshatra placement is the most important factor in muhurat.
The stable nakshatras like Uttraphalguni, Uttrasadha, Uttravadrapada, Rohini, benefic
nakshatras like Mrigashira, Chitra, Anuradha , Revati and mild nakshatras like Hasta,
Ashwini, Pushya and Abhijit nakshatras are very auspicious for opening a new shop.

Consideration of Ascendant
A strong Ascendant in the muhurat is required at the time of opening of a shop. The
Ascendants of Moon and Venus are considered excellent in this respect. For
determining the purity of the Ascendant there should be a benefic planet on the 2nd,
10th or 11th house and the 8th or 12th houses should not have any a malefic planet.

Considering the Tithi


According to astrological principles except the Rikta tithi i.e. the 4th, 9th and 12th
lunar days all other tithis are auspicious for shop opening ceremony.

Considering the week day


All weekdays are auspicious for this muhurat except Tuesdays.

Astrological restrictions
Astrology says that there are some inauspicious combinations during which shop
opening should be cancelled. If the Moon transits on the 4th, 8th or 12th house from
its birth sign, the 3rd, 5th or 7th house has a tara and if the day is afflicted by Bhadra
dosha then a shop should not be opened.
