Saturn receives his directional strength

This is the house that starts our adulthood, the time of

responsibility, sharing, commitment and growth. There is a reason
why Saturn gets his directional strength here. He shows what
commitment is of the 7th house because it's the house of marriage,
bondage, partnership. It's also the house that confines you to a
spot. When you are married you can't freely just go to any men or
women and be with them because breaking that bondage means
you will have to get some cuts, bruises and wounds. When one is
married that is a partnership of Shiva and Parvti. When you cheat
on your wife you are cheating on Parvati, when you cheat on your
husband you are cheating on Shiva.

7th house is known as the kama and marka house at the same time.
We desire for marriage, relationship, boyfriend, girlfriend
constantly, yet this part of our life sucks out the most energy
emotionally and physically. When your BF or GF breaks up with
you you feel half dead, you can't get out bed, you can't eat, you
don't want to meet anyone because you want them back, this is due
to the fact your emotional aura is attached to them. When you're
married or in a relationship the sexual part becomes the most
pleasurable for most, but especially when men waste their sperm
on daily basis or weekly basis in sexual union they are wasting
their prana (life force). Relationship/marriage binds you, makes
you restricted. You can't just leave the house on your own or travel
without talking to your partner, getting their permission, not
having them be suspicious or jealous of your surroundings; all of
this drains out the life force from a man or woman.

7th house being marka house also kills your sex life, this will be
more understood with house to house concept. If it's a marka house
it will end things.

7th house is also the house of trade, doing business, exchanging

goods, this is again where Saturn has the full direction. Business
deals not only requires trade, but commitment to fulfill ones
contract which again is like a marriage. A business partnership is
as same as marriage, this is why many people in India get their
horoscope matched for a partnership.

7th house is 3rd of kendra house because marriage is the 3rd most
important pillar in ones life as it sets the tone of lineage to
continue. These days most now have children before marriage but
then again 7th house is still involved which is partnering with
someone for a sexual union. But marriage is like a double edge
sword, most feel cut or bruised by it, but marriage can also cut
through all your obstacles and taking you to new heights.

7th house is connected to D9 Navamsa chart of Vedic Astrology

due to the fact 7th house is 11 places away from the 9th house, the
gain of your luck (you'll get this later). If someone has bad 7th
house but great navamsa then marriage may be difficult to come by
on time or there may be initial issues in the marriage but as the
marriage progresses the person's luck, finance, goals get activated.
On one hand most complain about their marriage, sex life, passion,
romance, while they do not realize that the millions they are
making might be due to the partner this Universe has assigned
them.

7th house even though being the 2nd marka house, but it's the
strongest of the marka house.

This is usually known as the most malefic house because it can
bring "sudden" things which are completely unexpected. Death
being the most unexpected of those scenarios. A man goes out to
the balcony to get a smoke break, suddenly gets a heart attack and
falls from the balcony while dying in between. This just happened
with a Hollywood crew remember of Mr. Rodger's movie starring
Tom Hanks. The gentleman who passed was James Emswiller. It's
the situation related to the 8th house that makes us look up, makes
us wanting to know more. It's when we are in death like situation
do we think of God, the 9th house.

8th house is all the hidden matters of our personal, professional

world. It shows scandals, taxes, hidden money, joint assets,
insurance, inheritance, wealth of our spouse, family of our spouse,
wealth of other people.

The other sudden things that take place in our life is accidents and
surgeries. No one plans on an accident like okay, in 2018 Feb I
will have an accident so let me prepare; no, it just happens. You
are not planning on getting a surgery in 4 years, it's when your
doctor said you have this and this issue and you need a surgery
asap do we really schedule such things.
8th house is the house of not only death, but also re-birth. We die,
we come back, we are A and we get transformed into B. The
transformation process always is hard, sudden, and full of pain.
You can't become a yogi, monk, or a disciplined person without
killing your old self. Once our old self is destroyed do we feel alive
again, whether good or for bad. One can be a good law-abiding
chemistry teacher in high school and suddenly becomes a meth
kingpin (Breaking Bad)

As I said anything which is hidden and suppressed underneath is

8th house; just like occult, mysticism , tantra, sexual
experimentation from being gay, lesbian, transgender or bisexual.
No one easily comes out and says I am gay mom, I want to change
my sex dad. It's the house of taboo or that which society considers
taboo. This is also the house of paranormal and the dead.

9th HOUSE

After dealing with the lowest point of our life in the 8th house we
are finally rescued by virtue of God into the higher realm, the
realm which gives us hope, optimism, wisdom and our true
dharma. This is where we finally get a hand from above that pulls
us up; it can be father, preacher, guru, guide, mentor. Only through
mentorship and guidance of a guru do we truly understand the
wisdom in life. Yoganada would still be Mukunda without Sri
Yukteswar Giri. Kapiel Raaj would be something completely
different somewhere without the hand of his uncle, astrologers,
people like K.N. Rao, Marc Boney, Sanjay Rath who made Kapiel
fall in love with Jyotish.

This is the house that teaches us "true value" of life and existence.
No other house does it except this, this is why it's the house of
Guru and father. Back hundreds of years ago a child relied on his
father and guru for proper guidance because back then father nor
guru were corrupt. Now things are different, as one's father and
guru can both be corrupt, greedy, pointing the child in wrong
direction of money, power and fame. That's all we as parents guide
our children for, go out in the world and make your name, earn
well, go high up in status. Back when things were pure the father
said never leave God when you are out in the world, never cheat
God with friends and acquaintances, do the right thing by
everyone.

The most corrupt of fathers were afraid of giving wrong wisdom to

their children but that's not the case now, at least most of the time.
9th house back in original form showed religious journeys as in
pilgrimage because that was the mission of a young adult or an
older man. Now, 9th house shows traveling to foreign land to
worship corporations, money and making a living; nothing is
wrong with that but 9th house status has been updated in 21st
century.
Many of you who are studying Jyotish under me might actually
want to do the right thing by your kids, but that's not the case for
some out there.

9th house is directly opposite of 3rd house, that means it's the
higher self of 3rd house; instead of talking about TMZ, one talks
about The Bible, Bhagvat Gita, instead of talking about meeting up
with friends one wants to travel to meet a Guru. "Life has to be
lived, why not live it the highest way? You could show me the most
beautiful work of art and I will find some flaw in it if I wanted to,
but why should I do that? Always look for the good in everything".

difference between 9th and 3rd house of social media, media or
gossip column.

3rd house shows text messages, blog posts, cursing or insulting

someone on comment section, while 9th house is publishing of
books, novels, something meaningful and with depth.

9th house is the LAW of life. It shows what we should follow

instead of what we follow. This is the highest of trikon and
Dharma bhavas. Trikon are the most luckiest houses for you, they
give you life. 1st house (no question) 5th house (your good deeds)
9th house (your LUCK) given by the divine.

Just like any other house, 9th house doesn't come without it flaws
which can show Yogananda or it can show Jim Jones of Jonestown
a religious or spiritual extremist or fanatic. In this day-&-age one
must be careful of the 9th house gift, it may not be as you think as
it can turn out to be a mirage of huge mistakes.

9th house can create fanatics who can infuse wrong information
into hearts and minds of other people.

10th HOUSE

Remember South direction with our guy looking at the mountains

where all the action of the stars, sun, moon were taking place? this
is why 10th house is the house of ACTION in our life. After
receiving the guidance and wisdom of our guru we go out in the
world and perform the "right" action.

The reason why Saturn, Sun and Mercury are karaka of 10th house
because they show duty, responsibility, control, intelligence and
most importantly ability to communicate to get things done. A
weak Mercury in someone chart can screw up their entire
professional life despite other planets being strong. Mercury may
be of a lower form of intelligence compare to Jupiter, but not
everyone can make money from reading religious books, finding
wisdom in meditation and wearing single colored cloth. You must
come down to the battle field and communicate in a way were
common "lower intelligence" can understand your message.

If 9th house contains the Guru and Father, then 10th house
contains the boss, authority, government, a place where pillar of
society is built upon.

I remember A.V. Sundhram once asked why 10th house shows

knees? it's because we have to stand on our knees, and in India
there is a saying "paraho pein khere ho" meaning stand on your
feet which is a synonyms of becoming independent and
professional. This house shows your reputation in public, image in
public, your confidence to take control in public.

11th HOUSE

This is the trickiest house of all the houses. On one hand 11th
house shows labha "gains" and growth over time, but on the other
it is also the highest of trik bhava. What is this? I remember asking
this same question to my uncle back in 2003 a day before my
sister's wedding. There are certain weird moments, and
conversation you just can't forget, this was one of them. My uncle
said, with too much ambition and goal focusing one will lose sense
of self, self service and God. 11th house is the candy store of devil.
He has the fancy, car, home, watches, gold, cash money and fame;
in exchange all he asks is your denouncing of God. This is why
11th house is a not a trik house but a trick house. It tricks you into
thinking your world ambitions being fulfilled is the ultimate goal
of your soul's achievement while soul wants nothing to do with the
goals we seek, it just wants to fulfill its dharma.

11th house is the gain of the 10th house of status, reputation and
position. 11th house elevates us from position A to B. The perfect
example would be the movie devil's advocate starring Al Pacino
and Keanu Reeves. The movie is about a up & coming hot shot
lawyer from Florida who has never lost a cause suddenly gets
invited to work with the big boys in New York Manhattan with a
high-rise apartment, luxury car and 10 x more money. The Devil
lures him in.

11th house is the seed of lion, the position of the King. 11th house
is the most important alongside 9th house which shows gains,
money and success in a person's life. If 11th house is damaged
along with 9th and 5th house the person will have the hardest time
in life to attain money. 5th house is the house of our previous life
good deeds, while 9th house is luck. We need all 3 of them to
become successful. 2nd house is the house of savings and wealth,
some may be very wealthy but they have a hard time saving
money, yet still with their in-flow of income they sustain their
lifestyle.

11th house is also the house of elder sibling. 3rd house younger but
11th house is older, however many mistake 3rd house to be all our
younger siblings, and 11th house to be all our elder siblings, but
that's wrong. 11th house is your immediate elder sibling, while 3rd
house immediate younger sibling. You will learn about this in our
'Bhavat Bhavam' lesson.

11th house contains all our hopes, wishes, desires. It's also the
house of large organizations, home of wild animals, NGO, U.N.
(B.B concept)
12th HOUSE

3rd of dushtana house (lightest of all malefic)
3rd of moksha house (strongest of all moksha)

This is the house of exist and entry. The soul enters from 12th
house and exists form 12th house. 12th house is 1 house previous
to our ascendant, which means it's the house of the life our soul
lived previously. Once the soul died in past life that it was able to
enter again into the 1st house.

12th house is the house which is the furthest from your ascendant,
it's 12 blocks, 12 miles away, 12 km away: It's far, thus it's the
house of foreign lands, foreign places, isolation from things you
are familiar with like your hometown, and people of the
hometown. It not only shows foreign lands, but also places that
narrow our comfort zone like hospitals, jails, asylums. Any place
that confides you into a place with no windows, or no contact with
people is 12th house like laboratory, monasteries, ashrams and
astronauts (space).

The reason why Saturn is the karaka of this house because Saturn
shows you're naked at all time. You came naked with nothing but a
body and there could times where you may lose everything you
know including the cloths from your back. Saturn shows the
sorrow of loss and expense thus it's the house of losses. Losses do
not have to be bad or negative. It can show loss of addiction, loss
of bad habit, but being the house of addiction it's not so easy to
achieve the good side of 12th house, for this is why it's the
dushtana house. It's also the house of dreams. It's also the house of
bed pleasures.
