Measurable Criteria
Each position in a school is exceptionally critical. There should be questions that are
created that are particularly planned for each position. There may well be some questions that are
the same but I think it is important to have questions that relate to particular employments. One
thing to be beyond any doubt would be what position you're seeking out and what the desires are
for that position. Once the questions have been made the organization will meet a least three
candidates. As of now at the school, I work at when we discover one or two candidates we like
them to come back and have an execution meet. In some cases, candidates don't do well in a
meet but we like them and inquire them back and they blow the execution portion. It is vital that
we see at all parts of the candidate particularly on the off chance that we feel they will make a
great fit for our school.
Protocol
In order for a school to succeed change is necessary. However, as an administrator it is
important to note that change is not easy and can be challenging for staff members. “Motivation,
success, and feeling valued are what drives individuals, at any level and in any profession. In the
school setting, it is critically important that we celebrate and recognize the outstanding things
that our school community accomplishes, both inside and out of our buildings” (ASCD Guest
Blogger, 2018). As an administrator I would build staff moral by building relationships within
my faculty and investing in my teachers with meaningful PLC’s and professional developments.
I would also make it a priority to create and share the same vision for our school. By modeling
the best practice and mentoring our students will see we are a united school and share respect for
one another. Sharing celebrations in staff meeting or individually can be meaningful and help
maintain the positive school culture.

Strategies
“A team with positive group dynamics tend to have team members who trust each other.
They can work towards collective decisions and they are held accountable for outcomes. A team
with good group dynamics may be constructive and productive, and it may demonstrate mutual
understanding and self-corrective behavior” (DeakinCo., 2017). Administrators may utilize
certain strategies used to promote effect team dynamics for instructional and non-instructional
leadership positions. It is important to encourage open communication, establish roles and
responsibilities, and create specific goals and targets that are aligned to the schools mission and
vision.
