Our Operations started off from Kanhangad in Kasaragod district in 2008 with the approval of the Kerala Khadi &
Village Industries Commission.
The company, which initially provided the materials and works required for the interior work of buildings, has since
shifted to the distribution of new generation construction materials such as Gypsum plaster, Ready mix plaster,
Sandfree plaster, Wall putty, AAC blocks, waterproofing etc. We developed it laboriously and later on entered the
Gypsum plastering area into depth.
For those in Kerala, when it is said that Gypsum plaster can be used for houses, it seemed impractical. This is
because in states like Kerala as the rainfall is high, the humidity in the atmosphere is much higher. Therefore,
plastering with ordinary Gypsum which absorbs moisture very quickly, is considered impractical.
We have been dealing with Gypsum products in Kerala and other nearby states since last 10years. We have tried
out various Gypsum products manufactured by reputed companies for our Clientele. But somewhere we felt the need
for a much higher quality material. With enough research and experience backing us, we have finally been able to
manufacture the best product that is suitable for Kerala environment.
Subsequently, under the brand name Sarwinplast, we are pleased to introduce for the first time in Kerala, High
Density Gypsum plaster (mixed with moisture resistant polymers) combined with very easy to use polymerized
brush bind waterproofing material.
In addition to this, Arathi i-Tech Panels in collaboration with the no.1 machine plastering company of india is
launching Machine Plastering in [Link] is to majorly address the shortage of workers in the plastering sector,
which employs the largest number of workforce in the construction sector; to expedite the overall work.
In 2019, Arathi i-Tech Panels received the BC to AD Business Award and Credibility Certificate for the Best
Quality Gypsum Plaster brand in Kerala.
The company currently has several dealers and on-going works in the states of Kerala, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.

8mm to 10mm, then plaster needs to be applied in multiple coats
• Use the material instantly after mixing
• The surface on which the material needs to be applied should be levelled and pre-wet properly
• Sarwin Gypsum plaster should not be applied on surface which is subjected to continuous seepage or dampness
FEATURES:
• Superior whiteness • Light in weight
• Affordable • Imparts high coverage
• No shrinkage cracks • Zero maintenance

substrates need to be pre-wetted prior to application of Sarwin Ready-Mix Plaster to prevent premature loss of
water from the plaster. This will ensure that thin layer can be applied without cracking problems and proper cement
hydration and adherence of the mortar to the substrate is attained. Apply plaster to the substrate, using some
pressure while finishing with a steel trowel or wooden float, to ensure optimum bonding of the plaster to the substrate
surface.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS:
Surface Preparation: All surfaces which are to receive the coating must be free from oil, laitance, grease, wax, dirt or
any other form of foreign matter which might affect adhesion. Typically concrete surfaces can be cleaned using high
pressure water jet or grit blasting or by proper wire brushing. Spilled surfaces or those containing large blow holes,
cracks and other such defects should be repaired using Sarwin Crackfill or Sarwin Ready Mix Plaster concrete repair
mortars.
MIXING:
Preparation of the mortar: Pour component Sarwin LQS (liquid) into a suitable clean container and slowly add com-
ponent Sarwin Brush Bind (powder) while stirring with a mixer. Carefully mix Sarwin Brush Bind for several minutes;
make sure no powder sticks to the sides or bottom of the container. Keep mixing until completely blended. A low-
speed mechanical mixer is recommended for this operation has to be entering to avoid too much air from entering
into the mix. Do not mix the product manually.
MIXING RATIO:
Sarwin Brush Bind Brush Application
Powder 6.00 kgs / 23 Kgs
Sarwin LQS 1Ltr / 4 ltrs
Water 1.4 ltr / 5.50 Ltrs
APPLICATION:
For best results, surfaces should be damp. In order to obtain the protective properties of Sarwin Brush Bind, it is
important that the correct rate of applications are observed. Use a short stiff brush preferably 120-150mm width and
apply the mixed material like paint. The application of Sarwin Brush Bind should not be done if the temperature of the
substrate is below 1000C. When applying Sarwin Brush Bind on hot substrates i.e., over 300C surface temperature,
saturate the surface with water. Apply Sarwin Brush Bind in 2 coats to achieve 1mm thickness. The second coat of
Sarwin Brush Bind to be applied as soon as the first coat has reached touch dry state. It is recommended that for
general surfacing Sarwin Brush Bind should be applied at a minimum thickness of 1mm. Areas subjected to moderate
and heavy loads / hydrostatic pressure, minimum 2mm thickness coating is recommended. Allow the Sarwin Brush
Bind coating to dry before covering with screed. Sprinkle coarse sand on wet surface of final coating for better adhe-
sion of screed. Average drying time is 4 to 6hrs at normal temperatures.

COMPOSITION:
Sarwin Crack Fill is available in two grades, namely grey and
off white to suit the surrounding surface color and texture.
The product is a blend of special cements, special additives
and selected grades fine aggregates along with alkali
resistant glass fibres. The product when mixed with water
in the proportion of 3.5 Volume of powder to one volume of
water results in a workable paste which can be trowelled to a
fine finish.

Sarwin Crack Fill replaces costly sealant and putties. It is non shrink,
hence possibility of shrinkage cracks are nonexistent. It has high
tensile strength and good adhesion properties. The finish achieved is
sufficiently smooth. Good resistance to freeze / thaw cycles, carbonation
and attack by chlorides.
PRIMARY USES:
• Sarwin Crack Fill is ideally suited for filling up of superficial plaster cracks as well as structural cracks
• Sarwin Crack Fill can be used for repairing ceiling cracks and plasters with ease because of its viscosity
• Cracks arising due to plasters cracking at junctions of wall and column or brick work and soffit of beam - effective
sealing ensured
• Cracks at parapet wall junction and roof slabs are also sealed with Sarwin Crack Fill
PREPARATION:
It is essential that the surface of the concrete to be repaired is sound, clean and uncontaminated. Chase the crack
and form a neat “V” shaped groove at least 6mm wide on surface. Damaged plasters can be cut out in more or less
square sides. Defective material must be removed carefully using reducing tools, needle guns or sharp tools and
chipping hammers. Force must not be applied as it will damage the sound material beneath.
21
CURING:
Start curing after the material has sufficiently hardened for two days and then allow it to dry out slowly (i.e. protect
from rapid drying due to wind, sun or excessive heat). Use of Curing Compound is ideal in repairs
SUBSEQUENT FINISH:
Sarwin Crackfill is suitable for all subsequent decorative finishes and painting. The finish obtained by Sarwin Crackfill
is far smoother than conventional plasters.

for handling chemicals. If the product comes into contact with the eyes or skin, wash immediately with plenty of clean
water and seek medical attention
SHELF LIFE:
24 months in unopened packs if kept in a dry store.
22
SURFACE PREPARATION:
Clean the surface thoroughly with a wire brush. Removes dirt, dust,
fungus, paint etc. Use water spray or high pressure pump if needed.
Allow it to dry for 8 - 12hrs.
SOLUTION PREPARATION:
Slowly mix 1ltr Sarwin Waterproof Wall Coat with 18 - 20ltrs portable fresh
water.
APPLICATION:
Apply the above, by spray / flooding. Use diluted solution within 24 hours. Check the treated surface waterproofing
after full drying for 3-5 days. Confirm waterproofing with water ponding. Never stop the application halfway or in
patches. Always apply till saturation (no further absorption even water 2-3min of spraying).
If you have to leave the work incomplete, mark the boundaries with a chalk, so that restarting the work will be easy.
Treatment makes the surface water resistant, therefore once the surface has dried, it will not allow further penetration
of the solution.

easier handling in ordinary cases. Its based on a special organic
acid with the advantage that it is as aggressive to stains and
efflorescence as much stronger acids (muriatic, hydrochloric, sulphuric
etc.) but, unlike these, does not produce highly dangerous toxic fumes.
Correctly used, Sarwin Ultra Clean does not damage joints between ceramic
tiles, even those grouted with colored products; but on the contrary, it removes
efflorescence that sometimes form on their surfaces.
The contact between Sarwin Ultra Clean and metallic surfaces may cause corrosion. Do not leave Sarwin Ultra
Clean on the joints too long and wash with plenty of water to remove any product residue which could provoke color
variation. Prevent Sarwin Ultra Clean from coming into contact with metallic surfaces or finishes as this may result in
corrosion.
