PROJECT PROPOSAL

I. IDENTIFYING INFORMATION

Project Name: Environmental Consciousness Week


Project Type: The weeklong event will be comprised of symposia, seminars
and workshop for training and development of various youth groups in the city to
promote environmental consciousness with invigorating activities such as e-poster
making, clean-up drive and tree planting.
Location: As the case maybe, all activities will be conducted in Silay City

II. RATIONALE

Silay City was struck by two flooding incidents that left thousands of Silaynons
devastated on the 1st 7 days of 2021. Since 2001 Silay City had suffered from four
floods that grew a deep concern amongst Silaynons. It is needless to point out the
effects of Global Warming as there is already a very evident presence of Climate
Change in the country. The call to act on all environmental issues we are all facing
has never been loud that actions should be done now before its too late.

TWG Members (6 for 16 Barangays) 6 x 16 x 100/pax = 9,600.00
Supplies and Materials: 20,000.00
Tarpaulin: 3,000.00
Miscellaneous: 7,400.00
TOTAL: 100,000.00 Php
