Assignment - When Technology and Humanity Cross

1. Technological advancements like robotics present ethical dilemmas regarding their impact on employment and the workforce. While robots can replace humans for many jobs, resulting in job losses, they cannot perform all jobs and humans and machines may be able to work together in the future. 2. Technology can both benefit and harm people. While it enables new conveniences and improves lives, it also risks overuse and impacts on health. However, negative impacts depend more on how humans choose to use technology than on the technology itself. 3. Google does not inherently make people stupid; it can increase access to knowledge and information when used properly. Examples of its beneficial uses include answering questions quickly, providing convenient access to information without libraries

Discuss the different ethical dilemmas faced by technological advancements in the

society.
1. Will robotics replace human employment?
̶ Yes, they can replace humans for many jobs. This would result in a massive
loss of jobs. But robots can not do all the jobs, unlike humans. If they can help
each other, people and machines will work together in the future.
2. Do technological devices bring more good than bad to people?
̶ Either good or bad, technology can help us in many ways. It's one of the few
things that make our life better. Some people say technology is bad for us
because they can take a lot of our time, they can affect our health but it is a
human problem and not the technology.
3. Do you believe that Google makes people stupid? Cite at least five examples to
support your assertion.
̶ In my opinion, Google doesn’t make us people stupid actually it gives us
knowledge to learn new things that we can easily access. It just makes
people stupid because they used it in a bad way.
 If you have questions it can be answered right away.
 Gives us information in a convenient way.
 You will no longer go to the library to look for the information you want to
know.
 It has its own dictionary, spell check, and you can easily translate
languages from a different country.
 Google is free so that everyone of us can use it.
