Purposive Communication Script

UBALDO - CABERTO - ARCE - TEMPROSA - GO - KOA

Member 1: Numbers. Laws. Theories. Balance. And endless variety of business problems. Too
much information in one head; we seek for wisdom and reach heights of knowledge every single
day, and that is accountancy.
Why are you even here? Did peers forced you? Or did the standard given by the society
influenced your decision? Probably your mom is an accountant also. How about it’s the only
choice that’s left? Or perhaps, you really wanted it.
But what does it take to be an accountant?
Member 2: Perseverance.
You don’t need to have a big brain like they told you so. It only takes a fire to pursue this dream
course; the passion that aims to enjoy learning new things; the fury, the grit, that pushes you to
read more and more books; and most importantly, the patience you earn. As the saying goes, “a
journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step”. Literally everyone you know with
expertise in this course started from scratch, flew with frustrations, and might have the times of
hopelessness, before they all reach the end shelf. So just continue to take a step closer to our flag
of success.
To get through your soul even more of excitement, here is what you should expect in Bachelor of
Science in Accountancy.
Member 3: In support and at the same time in contrary to popular belief, accountancy uses only
the basics in mathematics. The vital skill you’ll eventually learn is the power of analysis. It lets
you decode a problem and to be attentive in bits of details.
BSA is also aligned with career growth for a professional individual after you graduate. It sends
you to a path of countless opportunities for as long as there are surviving businesses, our
profession stands still.
As they say it is more than difficult as it seems, but take it as a challenge and you’ll never go
wrong with your decision. You’ll learn to love this course and it will surely absorb to your life.
Member 4: And here’s De La Salle Araneta University to bring you the amusing twist of learning
accounting. We aspire, we strive, we learn, all together. DLSAU BSA department offers you a
wide curriculum in accounting that are more than what the board exam could offer. It also leads
you to school organizations such as Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants, for us to be able
to enjoy our college life through methods that still relates to our course, and an effort to help us
remember important stuff for a long-term memory.
It is the department where EVERYBODY counts. Literally. It is where you learn how to balance
two or more things. Equality.
Member 5: Accountancy is probably the most boring course in the world perse, it can also be the
most confusing but if you want to have a stable but at the same time, a growing job and be able
to handle your finances well, it could be the most important subject.
Member 6: And as an aspiring Certified Public Accountant, we live by the quote of Robert
Kiyosaki saying “The word accounting comes from the word accountability. If you are going to
be rich, you need to be accountable for your money.”
