Brief History Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd. was incorporated on 15th September 2000. It took over
the business of providing of telecom services and network management from the
erstwhile Central Government Departments of Telecom Services (DTS) and Telecom
Operations (DTO), with effect from 1st October‘2000 on going concern basis. It is
one of the largest & leading public sector units providing comprehensive range of
telecom services in India.

Scope and Coverage This online directory covers the lists of numbers of all states of India. It provides the
facilities to search all India National Subscriber Dialing (NSD) codes and world
International Subscriber Dialing (ISD) codes. Telephone directories of main four
metro cities i.e. Chennai, Delhi, Mumbai & Calcutta are provided here. This
website also provides facilities to view bills, to complaint any booking regarding
phones, to pay bills through online etc.

Kind of Information After clicking on the name of a particular state, different types of search facilities
can be seen there like: name search, telephone search, address search, public utility
search, organization search, profession search, quick search, STD code search, ISD
code search, and special no. search, BSNL employee Search etc. Some mandatory
fields have to be filled in each type of search. Such as at the time of “telephone
