During the teenage years, many young people can at times be difficult to talk to.

school. This is a normal development becoming independent of teenagers trying to be
adult while they are still growing up. Young people are usually more willing to talk if
they believe that questions are asked out of real interest and not because people are trying
to check up on them.
Parents should do their best to talk to their sons and daughters about school work
and future plan but should not push them to talk if they don’t want to. Parents should also
watch for the danger signs: some young people in trying to be adult may experiment with
sex, drugs, alcohol or smoking. Parents need to watch for any signs of unusual behavior

these tigers. People were then encouraged to hunt and kill these animals with the promise
of rewards. Even after the threat of tigers on livestock was over, man continued to hunt
tigers, this time for recreation. Poachers too hunt tigers for their body parts knowing that

Son Doong Cave has become more famous after the American Broadcasting
Company (ABC) aired a live programme featuring its magnificence on ‘Good Morning
America’ in May 2015.

Located in Quang Binh Province, Son Doong Cave was discovered by a local man named
Ho Khanh in 1991, and became known internationally in 2009 thanks to British cavers,
led by Howard Limbert. The cave was formed about 2 to 5 million years ago by river
water eroding away the limestone underneath the mountain. It contains some of the tallest
known stalagmites in the world - up to 70 metres tall. The cave is more than 200 metres
wide, 150 metres high, and nearly 9 kilometres long, with caverns big enough to fit an

by BCRA (British Cave Research Association) and selected as one of the most beautiful
on earth by the BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation).
In August 2013, the first tourist group explored the cave on a guided tour. Permits are
now required to access the cave and are made available on a limited basis. Only 500

times. It may also help to email a copy of your passport details to yourself, in case it is
lost or stolen. Label your suitcases clearly so that they can be easily identified as yours. It

After inventing dynamite, Swedish-born Alfred Nobel became a very rich man. However,
he foresaw its universally destructive powers too late. Nobel preferred not to be
remembered as the inventor of dynamite, so in 1895, just two weeks before his death, he
created a fund to be used for awarding prizes to people who had made worldwide
contributions to mankind. Originally there were five awards: literature, physics,
chemistry, medicine and peace. Economics was added in 1968, just sixty-seven years
after the first awarded ceremony.

Nobel’s original legacy of nine million dollars was invested, and the interest on
this sum is used for the awards which vary from 30.000 dollars to 125.000 dollars.

Every year on December 10, the anniversary of Nobel’s death , the awards (gold
medals, illuminated diploma and money) are present to the winners. Sometimes politics
plays an important roles in the judges’ decision. American have won numerous science
awards, but relatively few literature prizes.
No awards were presented from 1940 to 1942 at the beginning of World War II. Some

number of speakers after Chinese. In Vietnam, more and more people are studying
English and they consider it a key to success. However, not everyone knows how to learn
English effectively.
The best way to improve the four skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing is to
practice regularly. You should make use of every opportunity to speak English with
friends in class or at English speaking clubs or ourselves in front of the mirror. Learning
by heart all the words does not help much if you do not read a lot because you will easily
forget what you have learnt. Reading books, listening to radio and watching films are
better ways to memorize words. Besides. English learners should not be so shy because
making mistakes is unavoidable in learning foreign languages. Practicing speaking a lot
is a good way to correct your mistakes.
