Energy Load Analysis and Solar Design

The document provides information to design a solar PV system for a mini grid, including average daily energy load and maximum peak power load data. It calculates the total power usage without and with variable loads to be 278.644 kW and 284.21688 kW respectively. It then calculates the required battery bank capacity in voltage and ampere hours for full load and lighting load only. The optimal battery brand is also determined based on specifications like capacity and cycle life. Separate inverter sizes are calculated for full load and lighting load. Finally, design parameters for a solar PV system for the summer season are provided, including monthly average temperature, wind speed and solar insolation.
