Explain Why King Thutmose I

King Thutmose I decided not to be buried in a pyramid because pyramids provided no protection from grave robbers. Instead, he was buried underground away from the Nile River in the Valley of the Kings for protection. Pyramids were an example of how ancient Egyptians searched for immortality by preserving their bodies. People continue searching for immortality because of our innate human desire to live on after death.
