Web Server Hardware

On the hardware side, a web server is a computer that stores web server software and a
website's component files.
e.g HTML documents, images, CSS stylesheets, and JavaScript files

2. Web Server Software

On the software side, a web server includes several parts that control how web users access
hosted files, at minimum an HTTP server. An HTTP server is a piece of software that
understands URLs (web addresses) and HTTP

e.g Apache Web Server,NGNIX, Oracle WebLogic Server, Zeus Web Server, Xitami

3. Web server 
is a computer where the web content is stored. Basically web server is used to host the web
sites but there exists other web servers also such as gaming, storage, FTP, email etc.

4. Electronic mail (E-Mail)

Short for electronic mail, e-mail or email is information stored on a computer that is exchanged


between two users over telecommunications. More plainly, e-mail is a message that may
contain text, files, images, or other attachments sent through a network to a specified individual
or group of individuals.
E.g Gmail,Yahoo,Hotmail

5. Web site utility programs

Utility software is software designed to help to analyze, configure, optimize or maintain


a computer. It is used to support the computer infrastructure - in contrast to application
software, which is aimed at directly performing tasks that benefit ordinary users.
