In this situation, the best choice would be rejecting the request. The project sponsor
specifically said this scope was not part your project that’s why even if you have the
time or cash they can’t be used for this purpose . It is not right to do the otherwise
according to ethical rules
Here in this case,the project sponser has mentioned that adding this scope was not
the part of project when the deal was signed. So,even if you have time in your project
activities or have any cash with you,you cannot allow this scope to be added
further,you have to reject the request simply ,so statements A and B are
incorrect and you also cannot talk to sponsor because the deal was already being
signed,so option D is also incorrect, Hence C is most accurate option {Answer C}
6)
In this case probably the best thing can be done is taking the responsibility and make
the correction at once in order not to reflect any negativity to client.
Covering up the issue is not a solution because the client may figure out the mistake
and lose his trust to your company. The client might feel cheated and this will make a
bad effect on the relationship between the company and the client.
Ignoring the situation is not a good choice as by doing this you would not be loyal to
your job and behave ethical.
You can’t ask the customer to complain to the A/R department to solve the problem,
this would be an irresponsible attitude and it will cause difficulties to your client. It
would make lose the client his coinfidence in your company. {Answer A}
