a. Follow the document “How to Unpack X-Smart.pdf”
b. Note on the Step4 of the document: check to ensure that the agitation
central cam is not broken. A spare is usually packed with a machine if
required replacement
c. Note on the Step6 of the document: check below on each pump/canister
BEFORE fitting onto the dispenser:

c. Check E-stop operation – make sure that operation is interrupted when the
switch is pushed
d. Check IDD settings – special care should be taken to check the dispense
speed (default 35). Should not be higher
e. Conduct “Purge All”
f. Conduct 30ml dispense from each pump
g. Check the brush height and adjust if necessary
h. Fill brush container with water
i. Check the turn table movement by hand. Ensure that the turn table does NOT
move when you apply relatively small force. If it moves, you may need to
change the motor
j. Using the FFmMaintenance program check the firmware version. It should be
209.4 or higher.

4. Filling canisters and prepare for calibration

a. Fill canisters correctly
i. Do not pour onto the agitation shaft
ii. Update the canister level in PrismaPro
b. Eliminate air from the system and check machine operation at the same time
by following:
i. Go to the “Test” page in PrismaPro to conduct prime all 5 times per
pump
ii. Go to PrismaPro maintenance page and conduct purge all
iii. Go to PrismaPro dispense screen and dispense minimum 120 ml per
canister

5. Calibration (optional)
a. Start Calibration Workshop
b. Check that each pump is assigned with correct profile
c. Check each profile to ensure that tolerance, number of repeats, and number
of turn table turns are all set as desired value
d. Run “Measure Density” command 2 -3 times to ensure that the density is not
varying. If varying, perform further air elimination. We recommend using the
measured density for calibration.
