DASHAMSA CHART D10:

This chart is actually very very important in terms of who you are, why? Because
it’s your OUTPUT in the world. Who we are, is what we do. We are nice people, we
are honest, hardworking, well driven, or so we think; but when we are at our karma,
doing our job, business or work we are something else and that’s what people know
as us. D10 chart is very similar to Arudha Lagna which we will learn In Jamini
Section.

Remember in all the divisional charts the ascendant is you, it’s who you are in that
section of the division, then all other house have different representation.

Below are the meaning of Houses in D10:

1. Who you are, how strong your karmas are, as in how good or bad? It’s your
stepping outside your home and going into the professional world.
2. Wealth you can create based on your karma.
3. Your skills of career, courage to work, the way you communicate in the
career, co-workers
4. Happiness from career, home related work or business.
5. Subordinates, your children in career, change of jobs, purva punya related to
karma.
6. Your competition in career, obstacles in career, debts taken on behalf of
career.
7. Business partnership, people you work with, how marriage effects your
career.
8. Join assets of business, secret affairs of work or business, hidden enemies,
sudden ups & downs of career and innovation in career.
9. Mentors of career, work in foreign lands, luck in career.
10. Your actual karma, fame, authorizes in your career
 11. Desires of career, gains from career and network circles in career.
12.Loss of career, foreign travels related to career, working behind the scenes,
rest in career (retirement)

Notes:

1. Look at the 10th lord of D1 in D10 chart, it’s placement by house, sign and
nakshatra including all the aspects on it will show the “Direction” of the
karma headed in life by looking at the deity of the D10 chart.

2. The lagna of D10 is whom the native is in the world while the 10 th house
and lord of D10 show the execution of the karma.
3. View conjunctions, aspects, yogas just like the birth chart but
remembering the meaning of houses.
4. Saturn and Sun are the karakas of D10 chart and their position in all ways
are the most important to see if D10 is giving favors or misery.
5. Look at planets from the Moon for recognition and fame.
6. Look for yogas in the D10 chart like Raj yoga, Pancha Maga Purusha Yoga,
Arishtha yoga and kartati yogas (we will discuss this after yoga lessons)
7. Sign of Capricorn becomes important in D10 chart along with the sign of
Taurus and Virgo. These are the original Artha Houses of “WORK”.
8. Look at the corruption of Rahu and Ketu to other grahas as they will
corrupt the graha and its ability to give rise to its fullest extent unless the
graha is strong in a sign.
9. If Saturn is 2nd to Rahu in birth or D10 chart success comes in late.
10. Sun Saturn becomes important for having a executive level position, they
should be 10th from a certain graha.
11. Upachaya houses a very important in D10 chart for “Rising in life”.
12. Jamini Argla and Yogadhas are also very important for success. We will
talk about this in Jamini section.

Key Notes: Vargottama Planets if not well situated per the lagna or corrupted by
other planets will fail to give but they still protect. Pushakara bhaga planet give
excellent results regardless of their placement as long they are not corrupted by
other planets.

The Deity of D10 Chart.

Some astrologers use reverse orders for ODD signs vs. Even signs, however I
see this normal degree pattern working fine for me and that’s what I was
taught.

Do not use graha rulership with these deities because you will be lost like a
madman. I have seen over 10 articles, books, lectures of different astrologers
assigning different planets to them which can create a cluster of mess for
you. Just stick to these deities and you will be fine.

Mainly such analysis is used by see the 10th lord and ascendant lord of D10
in the birth chart degree, but D10 having degrees of its own is much more
helpful.

Meaning of Deity’s:
INDRA: KING of Gods which means planets or ascendant degree in such
places the native wants to be CEO, CFO, Business owner, executive, Politian
and be famous.

AGNI: inspiration, creative, passionate, prosperity, easy going careers,

fireman, military, police men, scientists, astronomers.

YAMA: Lawyers, safety officers, rule makers, police maker, HR, judge,
Manager

ASURA: Medicine, healer, the one who breaks the rules, breaks the law,
solves problems outside the rules.

VARUNA: Diplomatic, philosopher, traveler, sailor, one who deals with water,
liquids, medicines

ISHANA: This is a teacher, a priestly like quality who wants to motivate and
inspire people at work, take care of other’s issues.

KUBERA: The one who handles money, the one who gets money with ease,
the one who hides and keeps the money and knows what to do with it, the
collector of Gold. Kubera are great accountants, money managers, number
crunchers.

ANNATA: This is the degree of worldwide fame, the one who destroys the
darkness, brings in purity.

BRAHMA: the creator, the inventor, the one who discovers new things and
spread them around.

VAYU: The one with PhD, the scholar, the teacher, advisor, the businessman
with many ideas.

When using these Gods of nature to analyze D10 chart be careful not to get
your prediction camouflaged. One can say something as simple as “You want
to be a leader, the boss and the manager”, 9 out of 10 times the person will
say yes; that’s not a prediction that is psychological counselling. You are not
learning that here, you are learning concert predictions.

One can have a dominated Indra graha in their D1 chart that will overrule
their Asura/Nirriti graha of D10. Use them carefully.

KETU NOTES:

Observe the 10th lord of D1 in D10, if strong and well placed in D10 then the
native will be well known in their work and will be respected in their work.

Observe ascendant lord of D1 in D10 if strong their stamina and strength will
be to work with full motivation.

Give importance to Sun and Saturn the karaka of D10 chart, see the aspects,
conjunction and yogas being formed which is very important to see if the
native is meant or not meant for government jobs, politics or being in a high
executive field.

Observe 10th house from Sun to see the physical strength required for work,
if malefices are 10th from sun the native has to work hard and do physical
work to attain wealth.

Observe 10th lord from Saturn, which will show how strong or weak the work
ethics are of the native.

Observe 10th from moon which will show the mental and emotional
attachment to career.

Observe the planets in 10th house, planets in the 10th house of D10 will
always help the native in finding success and fame at work even if debilitated
because planets in 10th house are visible in the sky.
Saturn’s 3rd aspect on 10th house is never welcomed unless he aspects his
own sign of Capricorn or Aquarius. This can be a life long struggle towards
achieving success.

If 10th lord of the birth chart goes into 6th, 8th house it shows struggles
throughout life, if sitting in 12th house then shows struggles in homeland but
success in foreign lands.

If ascendant lord of D1 is sitting in 6th, 8th or 12th house then the native is not
motivated to work or finds lot of struggles to start work.

If 10th lord of D1 is either exalted, own sign, moolatrikon sign or vargottma

(same sign in birth chart and D10 chart) will bring continues success to the
native even in bad time periods.

PLACEMENT OF LAGNA LORD AND 10TH LORD IN D10

Lord of 1st and 10th in 1st confirms a selfish, prideful and determined person.

Lord of 1st and 10th in 2nd shows focus of career will be towards money and family business
first before the actual work. One will also be inclined towards doing a lot of speaking and
talking for their work.

Lord of 1st and 10th in 3rd the native will desire to travel, communicate and express
themselves creatively in whatever type of work they do. There will be manual skills
required for work. There will be focus on self-efforts to make things happen

Lord of 1st and 10th in 4th house the native will have desire to work from home, in ones
own private office, dealing with land, mother and being involved with people of home

knowledge. Jupiter being in Vishaka shows the native will be an Indra in their profession.

1ST Lord of D1 is in 1st house of D10 which makes the native determined in their career.

10th lord of D1 is in 5th house of D10 which is again a blessings from past life to attain success.

Ascendant and 10th lord of D10 are in 8th house while 10th lord is also the 3rd lord with Ketu and
receiving the aspect of Moon the 6th lord. What do you know about his work? It’s all about dealing
with life-&-death scenarios, fighting enemies, bad guys, aliens (Rahu) and being an athlete in
competitive sport as 3rd lord is conjunct ascendant lord of D1. The work he will do will be either
revolutionary, innovative or dealing ups & downs; his life has been all that.
D1 chart of Yogananda

Ascendant lord is in 5th house of education, learning, ancient knowledge, mantras while 10 th lord
is in 4th house of privacy, Schlesien, being home, working with people of homeland. Also notice
the red zodiac sign label in 10th and 7th house? That’s what known as Dadga rashi as in “Zerio
rashi”, which is zodiac sign with no agenda, no power and no aim. We will learn this soon. What
was yogananda’s career? Well he never had a career. He was a monk.

Who was Yogananda’s wife? No one, he was never married, never had a relationship. Also if you
notice degree wise Venus changes in graga system to Mula nakshatra, and he was a big follower
of Khali. Venus in Jyeshtha as Atmakaraka doesn’t really make too much sense for him, Mula on
the other hand makes perfect sense.

The ascendant lord of D1 is in 11th house of recognition, achievements and being part of a large
organization (SRF)

10th lord of D1 chart is in the 7th house exalted of business, partnership, one on one relationship
with people.

Ascendant lord of D10 in 4th house of being in privacy, in a home like setting, counseling

10th lord of D10 chart also in 4th house of same thing.

Jupiter is in 10th house shows a teacher, mentor a guru in their profession.

But none of these good placements made Yogananda a millionaire, rich or wealthy on earthly
terms. His book ‘Autobiography of Yogi’ made far more money after his death. So why didn’t he
get money with such good placement? This is where we will look at several different things. 1.
Navamsa for fortune given by grahas. 2. Dasha period that will actually give money. We will look
at D2 chart, and D60 chart.
All this is an Onion lawyer scheme, do not judge an onion by a single layer, Onion is an onion when
everything is seen intact.

Once you have learned everything you will see things as a whole than just 1 chart, 1 placement, 1
dasha, 1 yoga etc… I’m just showing you layer by layer not the whole picture.

Ascendant lord in 2nd house strongly focused on money, family lineage, and accumulating power
and money since Moon is in Magha. 10th lord in 5th Mars shows speculation, counseling, love for
cinema, sports and politics, with the aspect of Saturn confirms technical education needed for
career.

Original 1st lord in 2nd house confirms strong desire to be dedicated to work but with a more
entrepreneurial spirit as Moon is in Swati.

Original 10th lord is in 12th with aspect of 6th lord Saturn who is also 5th lord but Saturn is a malefic,
with his moolatrikona in 6th house showing quite a bit of struggle to find ground, dealing with long
hours of work and many expenses on behalf of work.

Ascendant and 10th lord of D10 in 4th house shows one will be doing a lot of counseling, teaching
and management and doing remote location work.

Ascendant, Ascendant lord and 10th lord degree is in Ishana which shows one is a consular, priest
or some type of advisor at work, kind of like a spiritual guide. In the end this person will do well
if they were to become a manager, advisor of some sort in their work vs. doing some manual
work.
