(b) In a large bag, there are 14,800 buttons of which 80% are white and the rest

are black.

(i) Calculate the number of white buttons in the bag. [1]

remaining in the bag. After the project, determine the percentage decrease in the

number of buttons. [2]

(c) A mechanical device makes a clicking sound every 3 seconds. If the device was

plugged on for 15 hours, calculate the number of times the device made the

clicking sound. [2]

2. (a) Factorize each of the following expressions completely:

3. (a) Using a pencil, ruler and a pair of compasses, construct a triangle 𝐴𝐵𝐶 such
