II. Rationale:

Women’s Day is a Global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of
women in our society.

This year theme provides a unified direction to guide and galvanize continuous collective action to have a
gender-balanced world, gender balanced work placed, gender-balanced government, gender-balanced media
coverage, a gender-balance of employee that’s essential for economies and communities to thrive.

The Local Government Unit of Pili, Camarines Sur uphold the rights of women and the essence of their
worth and dignity as human beings. Women shall be recognized as full and equal partners of men in development
and nation building and in the same manners.

III. OBJECTIVE:

1. To give recognition to the Contribution of Filipino women in our Society.


2. To Contribute in promoting Gender and Equality and Empowerment of all women.
3. To Strengthen Advocacy on National Women’s Month with emphasis on women’s issues that
still need to be addressed.

IV. MANNERS OF IMPLEMENTATION

This will be started at 6:00 in the morning onwards to be attended by the organized women
members and other participants from different Barangays and other guest. Healthy Lifestyle activities
in the morning and Women’s Congress/forum in the afternoon. Two Snacks and Lunch will be
served to Five Hundred Participants. Honorarium will be given to Guest Speakers.
