72-Hour Emergency Plan

CHECKLIST
If you are beginner or even a veteran to disaster and emergency
preparedness, then you will always need a clear plan of action for
unexpected emergencies.

This type of emergency plan helps to cover small-scale emergency events


that last a few days, so begin with this plan first and make sure it contains
the following:

Stockpiling: food and water (1 gallon per person/day; 2400 calories /day)
Comprehensive Bug Out Bags for each family member

Home Evacuation Plan
Evacuations routes out of your neighbourhood, town or city
Rules of Engagement 
A first-aid kit customized to your needs
Emergency Meeting Locations
Retreat or Bug Out Home/ Location
Designated safe room or storm shelter
Basic survival skills (Urban and Wilderness survival skills)
Health and fitness
Bushcraft skills - building a fire, collecting and purifying water
Light sources - flashlight, headlamps, candles
Emergency Survival kits
