1. What are the practices of other cultures that you like?

Answer: For me the best practices of cultures in the Philippines that I like is the
“Pagmamano” because its shows respect to other people who are older, because
“pagmamano” is an act of respect.

2. What are the practices of other cultures that you don’t like?

Answer: For me the best practices of cultures in the Philippines that I didn’t like is the
“Filipino Time” which is essentially a euphemism for saying that are Filipino are always
come late. When Filipinos are agreeing on a specific time, the will not arrive in the specific
time that they already agree on it.

Guide Questions for Reflection:
1. What are my negative and positive traits that I think I inherited from my parents? What do
you think are the ways to change your undesirable behaviors?
Answer: My negative and positive traits that I inherit from my parents are, those attitudes
that immediately angry and I have a heart to help people specially those who need help. And
I change my negative behavior by asking the forgiveness from God and I’m praying to God
that He will remove my undesirable behavior which is not good in the eyes of our God.

2. If culture can shape one’s behaviors, do you think we can change a culture that provides
negative influences to a person? If yes or no, defend your ideas.

Answer: No, we can’t change the culture that provides negative influences to a person it is
because, if the person influence to a negative culture on his community they will adopt that
culture and it will never change to their life. Even they will transfer to another community
they will bring their that kind of culture.
