Abomination of desolation

Many scholars have attempted to define the term abomination of desolation as more and

more people draw close and try to understand the scriptures. The term refers to the heresy of the

holy place in Jerusalem. The term abomination of dissolution is mentioned in the book of Daniel

in regards to the mixed feelings that Christians encounter when the temple is defiled by evil

people and the worship of idols. Such acts as recorded in the book of Daniel when strangers

sabotaged the worship of the one true God and introduced idolatry, defiling the holy worship

place make the temple unfit for the worship of God.

Daniel used the term to describe the idol sacrifices in the worship place of the Jews,

replacing the traditional Jewish offering in the temple. The book of Daniel and the term

Abomination of desolation drew attention to lots of new testament authors who understood the

word to mean the destruction of the Jerusalem temple. However, more new testament authors

such as mark understood the name to signify the coming of a great idol force, for example the

coming of the antichrist. The term appears in new testament a couple of times about an

upcoming moral decaedency and destructive. The term additionally drew the attention of old

testament prophets such as prophet Ezekiel and Jeremiah. They have numerously reffered to the

total obliteration and violation of the holy temple by pagans.

Abomination can rbe defined as any action that can provoke deep feelings of hate and

disgust. Daniel refers to the idol worshippers who will defile the temple as such an abomination.

More Bibilical scholars also refer to the coming of the anticheist and his revelation in the holy

worship place as an abormination. According to the scriptures, the coming antichrist eill elevate

himself againist any other god that had ever be known and speak so highly of himself in a

monstrous tone. Eschatological records also warn about the coming of the antichrist who will

defile and penetrate the temple's most sacred place.

The Abrahamic covenant

The Abrahamic covenant was the first covenant in the Bible that God made with

Abraham to bless his ofsprings. In this covenant God promised to bless all th human races

through Abrham. According to the text the covenant was unconditional where God promised to

avour A brahams generations. This covenant is an example of the "royal grant treaty covenant"

where a king promises a specific person example. One of his attendants' additional example

includes the covent with David. God promised Abraham while he was deep asleep showing his

unconditional love to Abraham and his decedants. According to the scriptures Abraham hid to

Gods messages, laws and wishes making him a loyal servernt of God. His faithfulness to the

torah laws and obedience deeply showed his love and respect for GOD.

The Abrahamic covenant is based on the belief and the fulfillment of the scriptures by

Abraham and in return God repaid his unconditional love by the promise of many decedants and

lands. God promised Abraham to give him and his decedants a land, a decedant and bless his

offspring. God promised Abraham the promised land of Canaan, many decedants, he promised

Abraham that he would bless him and any one who blessed him would be blessed. The viceversa

was also true and lastly he told his name was to be changed from Abram to Abraham and his

wifes name to Sarai. The covenant was sealed through circumcision of all the male offsprings

from Abraham. According to the text the Abrahamic covenant can be classified into three broad

categories namely “the land of israel covenant, davidic covenant and lastly the new covenant, the

land, seed and blessing.”

In the Abrahamic covenant God commanded A bbraham to move from Hanan to the

promised land Canaan. God promised to give Abraham all the land that was physically visible

from Canaan. Additionally, God promised Abraham to give him a seed and bless his nation

which is realized through the Davidic covenant where God assured to bless the Israelites by

making David's sovereignty reputable forever. According to the text, the covenants relevance in

our lives today is that God will provide huge lands to the Israelites for settlement and that despite

the fact the they may get scattered in different places God will always reunite his disciples and

serve him under the one true living messiah Jesus Christ. Lastly the new covenet as promised in

the Abrahamic covenant was taken to mean the coming and the death of Christ. The new

covenant is symbolized by the breaking o fthe bread and pouring of the wine which represented

the blood of Christ. According to the text the unconditional covenants describe the God’s

integrity to his people by fulfilling his promises.

Acts and The eschatology

The gospel of acts is considered special scholarly work as the scriptures entail the

steadfast transition from the old to new testament. The book documents how the church grew in

size and moved outwards to the whole world. Te book changes attention from Israel to the whole

world. The book focuses on fulfilling the old testament promises fulfillment through the birth of

Christ to the world. According to the scripture, the book focuses on the restoration of the

Kingdom of Israel that meant that the kingdom was Israel was broken and Jesus had come to

restore the kingdom to ints intial power and glory. According to the book of Acts, Christ's main

concern was in His establishment of the church, which would be the new restored kingdom of

Israel.

According to… Chrit physical assesion to heaven was a sign that Christ assended to

heaven physically so he will physically return to the world. The pentecoast is also seen as a

fulfillment of Joel’s prophecy as the day of pentecoast iis hugely attributed to tribulation which

Jesusu outlined that He would not return until the day of tribulation had come to pass. Peter in

his preaching stated that Jesus will come back again to reensttate the Kingdom of Israel

additionally he stated that he would cut out all the non-believers of Christ. Additionally I the

book of Acts, its mentioned that the Gentiles would also enter into the kingdom of God which

has led to the belief that the church is “the promised kingdom.” However, the books author does

not directly quote the fulfillment of the prophecy but suggests that the prophesy will be fulfilled

on a later day perhaps by the second coming of Christ. Lastly, the book of Act's highlights the

coming of Christ as the coming back of the judge who will come bac to judge both the living and

the death.

Ages of the time

The age to come is taken to refer to the age post church. The church is believed to have

begun two milleniums ago on pentecoast chaired by Peter the apostle. After the return of Christ

most people believe thet a new church will begin and will continue for another millennial

according to revelations. However, there have been tones of misunderstandings as most people

try to understand the term as most scholars arguing the age to come begun with the pentecoast

among other reasonings.different people believed the term to mean differently. For example the

jews interpreted the term to mean the present times after pentecoast and “the present age” as

time before the birth of Christ. The jews believed that Christ would come to deliver Jerusalem

from captivity.

On the other hand, Christians distinguish the term as the second coming of the messiah as

Jesus mentioned that “anyone who disrespects the holy spirit shall not be forgiven in this age nor

the age to come.” This led to the formulation of the thinking that the term reffered to the second

return of Christ. Christians believe that the present age will end with the judgement of the living

and the death. Additionally the Apostles preachings understanding of the word refers to the time

after the second coming of Christ as recorded in Galations Christ died to rescue us from the

current evil age. Lastly the new testament scholars recorded this age as the last period bfore the

coming back of Christ. However, most Bible scholars and lovers have interprettade this age from

the appostellic view by basing their argument that Christians are not living eternally hence the

second return of Christ will mark the age to come.

Amillennialism

Amellianialism dictates that we are already living in the age to come. The believed

additional 1000years on earth believe that the already exist a spiritual form of God's kingdom.

According to the belief both wickedness and holiness will continue to grow as the evil dynasty

exist alongside Gods kingdom. Upon returning the Messiaah there will be judgment and the

raising of the dead back to earth. The theory teaches Christians that Christ will not return to reign

this world as the reign of Christ is spiritual and not physically on the earth. According to the

theory Christ the Mesiiah rules over our lives from our hearts. Upon returning, all his believers

will ascend into heaven after the judgment of the living and the dead.

The past chuch is also believed to hve assimilated to the theory of ameliannism. The

theory was derived in the past millenials where the theory of premellianism was the first believe

however this was thought to be material centered which led to amillennialism belief. However,

the theory has faced lots of criticism as critics base their argument on the text in revelation that

Christ will return to reign for another 1000 years. The mysterious nature of the kingdom of God

draws more and more criticism to the theory as most people argue that there lack scripture to

supourt the notion that the kingdom of God came to being on the first coming of Christ. Other

issues that are still unclear is the understanding of if it is true that satan was in prisoned as the

new testament doesnot mention if he is bound or not. Critics additionally argue that if satan was

earlier bound in the old testament how could he be free in the new testament and there is no

record of his relase in the scriptures.

Angels

Angels have been continuously mntioned in the scripture as real beingd created by his

almighty. Different scholars have come up with different theories that argue that they are spirits

created on God's first days. According to the scholarly articles they are gods creation to

safeguard his creation on earth. In the Bible different angels have been mentioned such as angel

Gabriel, Michael among others. Angels are believed to be spirits that take up humanly bodies

different scholars have agreed that angels are spiritual beings created to worship God, and serve

his creation.

Many Bibilical scholars recorded of the coming of the antichrist during the od days.

There are over 100 mentions of the antichrist in the bible. Different scholars described the

antichrist as a beast, spirit and others as the antichrist. Most current scholars believe that the

antichristhas already come to being as the spirit manifests it self in the rejection of Christ and the

refusal to hide to his words and commandments. Most scholars however belief thet t he antichrist

came to being many many yaers ago.

However, many scolars believed that the antichrist will originate from a gentile

community as recorded in the scriptures. In Daniel its outlined that the antichrist will come to

rule during the reign of the gentiles over the Israelites. The scripture further illustrates that the

antichrist will be a genius in all fields he will also be famous in most parts of the world as the

people believe him to be the greatest of the leaders the world had ever recorded. Whether the

antichrist is in existence today has however, been a debatable issue to many people. Most people

agree that the spirit of the antichrist is alive in the world and consists of unlawfulness of human

beings. New testament writters also attest that the antichrist was already living among them at

the time and has been in existence sincethen.

Numerous believes have been put in place in the identification of the antichrist. Among

them include that the antichrist will reign over the entire globe, he will be based in Rome , the
