Structural Design of Single Cell Box Culvert

This document provides the input data and load calculations for structural design of a single cell box culvert. The culvert has a height of 3000mm, width of 4000mm, and thickness of side walls and top/bottom slabs ranging from 360-400mm. Soil properties and material strengths are specified. Loads considered include vehicular live loads, earth pressure, self-weight, and imposed dead loads. Live loads are calculated based on AASHTO specifications. Soil pressure on the side walls is determined from soil properties and surcharge from fill height. Reinforcement spacing and sizes are selected to design for shear, flexure and soil pressure based on the calculated loads.
