Learner Attendance
DBE: National Education Act 27 of 1996
Policy on Learner Attendance
“Parents responsibilities:
A parent is expected to-
a) ensure that the learner attends school daily, on time and for the whole school day unless
there is a valid reason for absence.”
It is imperative for the future success of our learners that all learners are at school on time.
Late-coming is monitored and it is the responsibility of the school to intervene when chronic
late-coming patterns are displayed.
Ramadaan
We would like to wish all our Muslim families and staff well: as you begin the
preparation for this holy month of Ramadaan.
