1. Screenshot the result of your TPI.

2. Describe what kind of teacher you are based on the result of your TPI.
a. Examine Your Profile Sheet: The height of each of the five vertical bars on
your profile represents how strongly you hold each of the Five Perspectives
outlined on the Summary Sheet
b. Note the Height and Range of Your Overall Scores:
Do your scores overall generally fall in the 40s? Or the 30s? Or 20s?
- My scores fall in 30s
Are your individual perspectives strongly held? Moderately held? Weakly
held? What might this suggest?
- Moderately held.
c. Check the Differentiation among Your Perspectives:
Which perspective is your score the highest? Lowest?
- My transmission perspective has the highest score while the
apprenticeship and developmental perspective have the lowest
score.
d. Identify Your Dominant, Back-Up, and Recessive Perspectives
- My dominant perspective is none and the back-up are transmission,
apprenticeship, developmental, nurturing and social reform
perspective and there is no recessive.

h. Does the highest Intention sub-score occur within your dominant perspective?
If not, where does it occur and what might that indicate? Similarly, look across
your Beliefs sub-scores; in which perspectives are your Beliefs expressed most
strongly? Within which perspectives do your Actions predominate?
3. Write your personal educational philosophy based on your personal reflection on
the result of your TPI.
- My personal educational philosophy is that I believe all students are
capable of learninig. They all do not learn at the same rate, but with
different methods and strategies. Learners should be viewed as
individuals who can contribute to the classroom, sharing and gaining
knowledge from each other. Learners need guidance not just lecture
only. Students must be able to function in the real world which only
not requires academic knowledge but social skills as well.
4. When do you consider teaching as an art?
- I consider teaching as an art when it becomes my passion and it’s
stress free. When the environment is good and friendly and the
classroom is conducive for learning.
As science?
- Science systematize body of knowledge. Science helps students
explore and learn on their own.
