The Industrial Exhauster Blower is designed to handle


large volume of relatively clean air as required in
heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems as well
as many industrial air supplies and exhaust application.
These are well suited for installations involving exhaust,
pollution control, air circulation and a variety of other
industrial applications.

HIGH PRESSURE BLOWER

GLOBAL High Pressure Blower is specifically


designed to handle relatively high static pressure
some times are called air booster. Moreover these
are used in allied engineering industries and also
used in variety of process and environmental. High
Pressure Blower application where low volume and
high pressure is requires. Typically application
includes combustion air, Pressure and vacuum
drying, glass blowing and cooling, pneumatic
conveying and glass boosting.

PRESSURE BLOWER
GLOBAL Pressure Blowers are a lower volume, higher
pressure fan which utilized a high efficiency, backward
curved, non – over loading blade design. Pressure blower
offers a lower specific speed design featuring single
thickness blades, suitable for industrial processes
involving clean as well as light particulate – laden air.
Typical applications include product cooling, primary air
supply to ejectors, liquid agitation and water blow – off, air
pollution control systems & exhausting.

CONSTRUCTION:
Housing:
Housing shall be made of heavy gauge steel with continuously welded construction and braced
with structural shape to eliminate any resonant vibration and provide smooth operation.
A shaft seal as well as a flanged inlet and outlet shall be provided as standard equipment.
Wheel:
Blade design shall be backward curved for high efficiency and non – overloading performance
characteristics. Blade shall be continuously welded to the wheel top cover and back plate.
A fabricated steel hub shall be provided. Wheel shall be statically and dynamically balanced on
precision electronic machines as well as trim balanced after complete assembly.
Shafts:
Shaft are to be solid material selected for EN series hot rolled steel, accurately turned, ground,
polished and ring gauged for accuracy. Shaft is to be sized for the first critically speed of at
least 1.5 times the maximum speed for the class.
Bearing:
Bearing are to be heavy duty, grease lubricated, anti – friction ball or roller, self aligning, pillow
block type and selected for minimum average life in excess of 200,000 hours at the maximum
fan RPM

Finish and Coating:


The entire fan assembly, excluding the shaft shall be thoroughly degreased and debarred
before application of rust – preventative blue primer. After the fan is completely assembled
a top coat of blue primer is applied to the entire unit. The fan shaft is coated with petroleum
based rust protect.
ACCESSORIES:
Drain Connection:
Welded tank flange 1 ½’’ located at the lowest point in the housing scroll. All fans come with a
drain hole in the bottom of the housing.
Cleanout Door:
Bolted and quick – opening access door are available for easy access to the fan interior for
inspection or cleaning. All access doors are gasket and are constructed with either evenly
spaced studs or heavy duty hinges and handle – type nuts which require no tools to open.
Raised bolted access doors are available for use where insulation is being applied to the
outside of the fan.
Flanges:
Outlet flange angles welded flush with fan outlet and provided with holes. Inlet flange angle ring
welded to inlet collar and provided with holes. Companion flange with matching holes pattern
also available.
Shaft Seal:
Ceramic – felt seal elements are encased between metal backing plate and retaining disc.
Elements can be easily split for field installation and maintenance. Lubricated lip seals are
available.
Inlet Damper:
Inlet damper is fabricated in a separate frame and is conveniently flanged for duct connection.
External vane construction provides presume air effect to control fan performance efficiently not
available for use with inlet box.
Outlet Damper:
Outlet damper is fabricated in a separate frame and is conveniently flanged for duct connection.
This damper offers satisfactory control of air volume of air volume for most application.

Vibration Isolation:
Rubber – in – shear or spring – type isolation mounted to rugged structural unitary base
reduces the transmission of vibration to the mounting structure.
Unitary Base:
Structural steel base provided common support for fan, motor and drive components also.
Belt Guard:
Guards constructed with solid sheet – metal backs and sides and expanded metal covers for
maintenance viewing.
Coupling Guard:
Features welded construction and offers protection from possible injuries due to rotating
coupling.
Heat Slinger:
This cost aluminum rotor creates a strong circulation of ambient air over the shaft and inboard
bearing and also shields bearing from hot gases which may escape through the housing. The
heat slinger reduces heat conduction from shaft to bearing.

CONSTRUCTION FEATURES:

Standard Construction:
 All welded heavy gauge housing with structural reinforcements to reduce vibration and
minimum distortion due to pressure.
 Heavy gauge continuous welded, backward curved, steel wheel with anti – thrust vanes.
 Anti friction bearing with a minimum average life of 200,000 hours for long reliable
performance.
 Inlet and outlet flanges are provided on the housing to facilitate easy connection of the
system.
 Shaft seal. Non – asbestos woven fibrous material sandwiched between the fan housing
and an aluminum cover plate.

 Statically and dynamically balanced rotor with shaft.
