Solvay BRICORR® 288 40% phosphonocarboxylic acid salts
Categories: Fluid
Material Formula containing phosphonocarboxylic acid salts (40% solids) used to provide scale and corrosion control in
Notes: water treatment applications. This product offers cathodic corrosion inhibition as well as scale control.
Identification: MIXTURE OF: TETRASODIUM PHOSPHONOETHANE-1,2-DICARBOXYLATE AND
HEXASODIUM PHOSPHONOBUTANE-1,2,3,4-TETRACARBOXYLATE
CAS: 143239-08-1
Available in: Asia Pacific, Europe, Latin America and North America
Applications: Bricorr® 288 is a chlorine stable, multifunctional water treatment product designed to control
ferrous metal corrosion and mineral scale deposition in open evaporative cooling towers. It also finds use in
closed cooling systems and chilled water systems. The performance of Bricorr 288 can be further enhanced by
formulation with yellow metal inhibitors, disperants and other scale and corrosion inhibitors. Bricorr® 288 forms
the basis of a low phosphorus content, all-organic cooling tower water treatment program.
