1. Greetings

have a short warm up exercise.

“Now, let us proceed to the 1st figure it is a Heel
(The students will read the step pattern)
and toe change.”

“So, this is the Heel and toe change. Heel and toe
to your right change step, and heel and toe to your
left and change step, change step to the right and
change step to the left and four steps backward
repeat.
(The teacher will demonstrate the heel and toe
change)
“Understand class?”
“Now, let us proceed to the 2nd figure the rock and
gallop” (The students will say yes)

“So, this is the rock and gallop, in this figure rock


your right foot forward while your left foot raise at
the back, Rock your left foot backward while your
right foot raise in front and three gallop steps going
to right. Repeat action going to left.
“Understand?”
“Okay, very good!”

“Now class, everybody stand up and let us all do the


1st and 2nd step.”
“Very good class!”
“ Go back to your seat”
(The students will execute 1st and 2nd step)

“Now, let us proceed to the 3rd figure the Clap,


change and turn. (The students will say Thank you sir)

“So this is the Clap change and turn. Throughout


this figure,clap hand in front of the chest. Clap 3x
(ct.1 and 2), Clap 2x (ct. 1,2)
(The teacher will demonstrate the clap)

“okay, very good” (The students will raise their hands)
(The student will do the clap)
“For the feet position do change step going to right
and hop and raise you left foot and swing and do it
in left side, change step and raise your right and
swing and turn to your right three steps and point
you left toe forward and repeat to your left turn
three steps to your left and point you right toe
forward .”

“Let’s do it with clap”


(The teacher will demonstrate the clap change and
turn)
“Now class, everybody stand up and let us all do the
1st 2nd and 3rd step “
“Very good” (The students will execute 1st, 2nd,and 3rd step)

Now, let us proceed to the 4th figure the Touch and


jump.
“So, this is the Touch and Jump, Touch right toe
forward and touch left toe forward and jump on
the both feet crossing right in front of left foot count
one and jump crossing left in front of right foot
count two, jump crossing right in front of left foot
count 1jump crossing right to left foot count two.
Repeat figure 4 starting with the left foot.

(The teacher will demonstrate the Touch and step)

“Now class, everybody stand up and let us all do the


figures from first to last”
(The students will execute 1st, 2nd, 3rdand 4th step)

E. APPLICATION
“Okay class, for your activity.”
“All you have to do is to choose one among the basic
steps that I discuss earlier, and then you will
interpret and perform it. I’ll give you 5 minutes to
