friendly. Our adherence to the Family and Medical Leave is an important aspect to our
commitment employees and their families.
Who is eligible?
Employees who have at least one year of service and have worked a minimum of
2000 hours during the year before the leave is requested
When may FMLA leaves be taken?
These leaves may be taken for the birth of a child, seriously ill family members, or for
your own health condition. Employees get a total of 12 weeks of FMLA leave.
How far in advance must the leave be requested?
When a leave is foreseeable, the request must be made at least 5 days in advance
What is “Leave donation?”
Leave donation enables employees to donate some of their accumulated sick leave or
vacation time to employees who have taken unpaid leave.
How “Leave donation” works?
When an employee runs out of unpaid leave time but still needs time off he/she can
request or formally apply to use some of the leave available donated leave.
