What is cPanel?

cPanel has a Linux-based platform for web hosting and control.

The graphical interface (GUI) panel software is made and
developed at cPanel, LLC. It provides a control panel that
simplifies a website and has automation tools that are designed to
ease out the process of hosting a website for the website owner or
the "end user". It helps us administer a standard web browser using
a three-tier structure.
Step-by-Step guide for you to download WordPress in
cPanel:-
● You need to download and extract the latest available version of WordPress.
● Upload the files to a directory.
● Create a database with MySQL and user for the database.
● Update the WordPress configuration file(wp-config-sample.php) and rename
it as wp-config.php.
● Run scripts for WordPress installation and create your very first WordPress
user/administrator and give a name to your website.
● Finally, you can Install and log into your WordPress.
● Next comes the well-known 5-minute WordPress (WP)
installation process.
● Enter the details like the site Title, your desired WP username and
password, and your mail id to login. It is important that the
username and password are only for this instance of WordPress.
Do not fill-in or use the same username and password that you had
used as your database user.
● All of these details can be modified as and when required in the
WP Admin.
