Analyzing the controversial nature of the Order of the extinction process of the Templars, we
can infer that their "strange practice", called as heretical, would constitute in themselves the
unique praxis of the Order to the initiatory purpose, which for convenience of the political
scene between Philip, the Fair and Clement V, would be used as a "scapegoat" for its

around the year 1219, when the Templars took part in the daring offensive with Jean I of
Brienne, king of Jerusalem from 1210 to 1225 and co , emperor of Constantinople Latin
empire from 1231 to 1237, against Egypt, where almost reconquered Jerusalem through the

The link between Sufism and the Rose Cross is the largest echo in Mohyid-Din Ibn Arabi,
whose works, Kitab el-Isra ( "Book of the Night Journey") and Futuhat el-Mekkiyah (
"Revelations of Mecca") have severe similarities to the plan outlined by Dante Alighieri,

calculation of the date of Christ's birth, which had been deeply influenced by the ideas of the
learned astronomer and Portuguese Jewish alchemist Isaac Abravanel (Lisbon, 1437 -
Venice, 1508), also dubbed in the sixteenth century of "Hermes Trismegistus" to dominate
Magna Scientia.

In the reign of King John III (12.13.1521 - 11.06.1557), the Convent of Christ, following the
reforms of the said Friar Anthony of Lisbon so badly accepted by the Conventual friars of
Christ until then administered by Father Diogo Rego both spiritual level as secular, received
works that radically changed his feature, or rather Italian-Renaissance additions designed in
1529 and implemented from 1531, with the cloisters leaning against the three faces of the
temple absorbing much of the existing building volume. The Rule of reformed friars of Christ,
made up of 36 chapters, was a custom adaptation of St. Benedict's Rule which gave new
