SOP, Statement of Purpose Format
uncertainties in the way the systems run. I am inquisitive to study about these problems around me and
wanted to develop solutions. By doing so, gives me immense pleasure & satisfaction. In order to reach
this goal, I have realized that I need to have an exposure and fundamental knowledge in technical
aspects, which I believe that I have gained it in my graduation. But, to make things happen practically in
the real world and manifest my goals, managerial skills play a vital role. Some of the aspects like,
planning a project, planning financial requirements, checking the feasibility, managing human resources,
and studying the market dynamics, are one of the major aspects that I need to learn about and attain
necessary skills. I found that, MBA is the best option that provides me the platform to imbibe knowledge
and attain managerial skills that are required to reach my goal.
Along with my graduation, I have also involved in certain roles & activities that shaped me as a better
person than I was before and that eventually helped me to prepare myself for the challenges and gave
me confidence. These activities are, working in an NGO in our college as a volunteer & as a committee
head for Publicity and Outreach. These experiences taught me how to plan and manage activities. I have
been in the Toastmasters International club, which taught me different types of communication skills. It
also taught me leadership skills assigning me with the responsibility of being the secretary of club and
noting and maintaining the records which enhanced my multitasking skills. Along with that, I am working
as a content write for an NGO which taught me how to create content in a creative way by ensuring
authenticity and it has also taught me how to research on content from various sources which
eventually enhanced my analytical skills. I believe that my goals and my skills that I have acquired, suites
me for perusing MBA in your prestigious institute.
How will your mechanical skills help you to achieve to achieve your goal.
In general there are many processes involved in any companies for manufacturing a product or
designing a solution . my mechanical knowledge would help me to understand various processes that
takes place In a company and helps me to have a clear understanding about the technical aspects of the
different processes that takes place in a company. If he asks about your idea about waste management
…you can tell that segregating waste through different processes , recycling of waste , speating different
metal scrap from the scrap and differentiating it . these processes are vital for the things to work and my
mechanical background could help me to plan, design and control these processes efficiently.
The waste can be segregated by installin separate bins for different types of wastes .like THE COLOR
CODING OF WASTE BINS Organic is Green, Glass is Yellow, Paper is White, Metal is Grey, Plastic is Blue,
Hazard is Red . texties cloth recyclying is also one of those .We can collect these bins and speratly send it
to the recycling plans , bo mass plants for electricity , glass factories for recycling glass waste , and we
can sell the etal scrap to various industries which can be treated and can be reused for additional
purposes.
Sub question : what are different methods of recycling ? ow is it generally done ..example
collect the scrap and it is taken to the material recovery factory where the separation of
various kinds of waste is being done and along with that sub sections of separation will
be done by separating the existing waste into various qualities like paper can be done
into cardboards , newspapers , notbooks ,etc will be separated .. generally for paper
based waste the main processes are ,
they are separated by the processes called
Debaling[edit]
The bales are opened and large foreign objects are sorted out on the conveyor belt to
the pulper. Many extraneous materials are readily removed. Twine, strapping, etc. are
removed from the hydropulper by a "ragger". Metal straps and staples can be screened
out or removed by a magnet. Film-backed pressure-sensitive tape stays intact: the PSA
adhesive and the backing are both removed together. [4 THE conveyer belt is sticked with
adhesives which attracts the paper based wastes and it will get separated. Metal waste
can be separated b a magnet .
Now paper waste is made cleaned and bleached . thethe following process is done.
deinked
Metal waste separation can be done by ferrous and non ferrous separation
Then it is melted into liquid form and will be separated by adding impurities . and it can be reused .
plantation drives .
Blood donation camps .
In order to ge the permission we need to write a letter to the concern authority of a blood bank
or hospital CMO for requesting permission for arranging a camp and requesting the allocation of
staff for doing it and providing the info about no. of volunteers involved . before any blood camp
basic things we should do is Before donating blood, it is important to have a wholesome meal at
least 2-3 hours prior so that blood sugar level stays stable. To compensate for the loss of fluids
from the body, one should stay hydrated with juices and water to avoid low blood pressure.
After donating blood, caffeinated beverages should be avoided, and foods which are rich in iron
and Vitamin C should be consumed.
Cleanliness drives.
Sub question: You told that you have worked as outreach and publicity comitte head . wat are
different methods of outreaching.
