Review ID Requirements

All test takers must provide valid, acceptable identification (ID) documents to be
admitted to a test center. Your ID requirements depend on your country of
citizenship and where you plan to test. Review ID requirements
(http://www.ets.org/toefl/ibt/register/id) for the country where you plan to test. If
you cannot meet the ID requirements or have questions, contact the ETS Office of
Testing Integrity (OTI) at [email protected] (mailto:[email protected]) or 1-609-
406-5430 before you register for a test. If you do not contact OTI and are unable to
test or your scores are held or canceled because you do not have acceptable ID,
your test fee will not be refunded.

Select a Test Center


Your choice of available testing sites will depend on your desired location and
dates.

Select Score Recipients


Your scores will automatically be available online approximately 10 days after
your test date. You can select up to 4 free score recipients during the registration
process. After you register for a test, you can add additional score recipients for a
fee.

Answer Background Questions


You will be asked a few questions about your background. Your responses to these
questions will be used for research purposes and for the TOEFL Search Service.

Review your order and make your payment


You can review or modify your order summary before payment. If you are paying
by credit/debit card, please have all your card information available, including
