Vaccination Schedule Commercial Layer

1) This document provides a suggested vaccination and treatment schedule for commercial layer birds from 1 day to 40 weeks of age. 2) It includes 24 vaccination points from 1 day to 40 weeks with vaccines for diseases like Marek's disease, infectious bronchitis, Newcastle disease, infectious bursal disease, fowl pox, infectious coryza, and R2B. 3) It also includes treatment with antimicrobials like tylvalosin, doxycycline, neomycin, tiamulin, amoxicillin, and chlortetracycline at various time points to control mycoplasma.

 Antimycoplasma Drug Schedule:

Tylvalosin Tartrate (Respotyl-25) @ 25mg per kg body weight for 3 days


alongwith Doxycycline + Neomycin (Vendox-N) @ 20mg per kg body weight
for 4 days in 1 wk & 5 wk.

Tiamulin Hydrogen Fumarate 80% (Ventrimulin 80%) @ 20mg per kg body


weight for 3 days alongwith Amoxicillin ( Amopremix) @ 20mg per kg body
weight for 3 days in 9 wk & 13 wk.

Tiamulin Hydrogen Fumarate 10% Feed Premix (Ventrimulin 10%) @


15mg per kg body weight @ (1.5-2Kg/Tonn) for 5 days alongwith
Chlortetracyclin 15% @ (1.5 kg/Tonn) for 5 days during laying.
Note:
1. These vaccination schedules are general guidelines and may be modified
pertaining to local conditions.
2.It is advisable to ensure body weight of 600gms & above before R2B vaccination.
3. It is desirable to check ND(HI) antibody titres before R2B vaccination.
