Cairn India is one of the largest independent oil and gas exploration and Production Company,
headquartered in Gurgaon, India. A subsidiary of Vedanta Limited; part of the Vedanta Group, a
globally diversified natural resources group. Cairn and its JV partners’ account for more than a fifth of
India’s domestic crude oil production. Cairn India’s producing assets are in Rajasthan, Cambay and
Ravva.
CAIRN Project is a total outsourcing deal where we are providing support & development to all IT
related needs. This covers infrastructure, desktop support, IT Consulting, SAP & Non SAP applications.
We are supporting their new business requirement along with support for HCM, Successfactos, Fiori,
MM, ISOIL/SD, Finance, SRM, Ariba, Warehouse Management & Plant Maintenence.
I am leading a team of 50+ Consultants & does maintenance & development work in SAP HR, SF, Fiori,
MM, IS OIL, Finance, SRM, WM, PM & Ariba modules.

The Customer is the organization operating in 28 countries with manufacturing 87 locations covering
business in Fiberglass insulation, Roofing & asphalt, Glass fiber Reinforcements. Composite markets
are more diverse & complex in operating business environment. The Customer’s businesses are
regional & maximum locations are in North America so North America is by far the largest region for
Building Materials so Organizational structure is more centralized in 'Toledo'.The client’s present
system is working in SAP R/3, Netweaver and portal components.
The objective of the project is to do Global Application Support (North America) of the functions,
processes, interfaces & systems deployed in Wave 2 & Wave 3. This include to fix all break-
fix/operational defects, compliance to Audit/SOX requirements, continuous improvement actions,
monitoring & enhancement development which will results in
Streamlining business processes of OC.
Making OC processes more efficient by sharing best practices documents with them.
Eliminate the repetitive issues by documenting the solution & then sharing it with the users.
In the process also save time & money for OC.

FUNCTIONAL EXPERIENCE
The client’s present system is working in 3.1i. The client’s present system is using the third party tools.
We have already replaced the clients system for other locations in Europe to 6.0. In the upcoming
project, we will be upgrading the system to the 6.0 and are replacing the third party tools with
interfaces & enhancements. The SAP 3.1i Upgrade project will take place primarily in the U.S. and
Canada. The initial focus of the project is on the North American Building Materials Group (“BMG”)
businesses and the back office functional areas necessary to support that business.
The implementation & upgrade of the system will help client's dependency on third party tools &
recover from the drawbacks of the old 3.1i system. The 3.1i system uses large number of Z
developments that are covered by SAP in standard in 6.0 & will reduce the developments burden as
compared to 3.1i & eliminate the select one off databases and non integrated tools. The system
upgrade is required to be changed in 67 Plants

up a chain of multi brand auto solutions and sales ‘hubs’ with services like maintenance, insurance,
CNG/LPG retro fitment, body and paint, accessories, DC Design etc. under one roof for various auto
brands. Carnation will also retail new and certified pre-owned vehicles. It plans to set up approximately
100 multi-brand auto solution hubs in the next four years.
Tetrapak the leading manufacturer and supplier of packaging materials is established in more than 165

The project is aimed at implementing PeopleSoft HRMS, Global Payroll and Financials in the
Establishment Functions of Ministry of Company Affairs (MCA) using PeopleSoft 8.46. The three
PeopleSoft applications mentioned above are seamlessly integrated and also interfaced with other
systems developed as part of the overall program.
