The navigation lights are controlled by the Navigation Light Navigation
Control System on the Workstations, via the Operator panel or light
via the emergency switch on the I/O module. Navigation Light I / O module connections
In Remote position the navigation lamps are controlled by the Navigation Light Control System on the Workstations.

The Nav. Light I/O Module is equipped with:
12 pcs navigation lamp Main output.

In Remote position the navigation lamps are controlled by the
Navigation Light Control System.
Main power supply input: 19~32VDC.
Back-up power supply input: 19~32VDC.
Power supply output: 19~32VDC which is connected to the
Navigation Light Operator Panel.

The BNWAS contains a watch timer which can be
adjusted in between 3 and 12 minutes.
In case the timer reaches zero, the BNWAS first warns
the officer on the bridge via a Visual Alarm LED. If the
officer on the bridge does not reset the BNWAS within
15 seconds, the audible alarm on the bridge is activated
as well.
If the officer on the bridge does not reset the BNWAS
within 15 seconds after the audible alarm on bridge is
activated, the officer alarm is activated as well.
If the on duty officer does not reset the BNWAS within
60-180 seconds (adjustable during installation) after the
audible alarm in the on duty officer's cabin is activated,
the audible alarm in all other officer cabins and a crew
audible alarm is activated as well.
