Task: Discuss the meaning and concept of human relations, its purpose and importance.

Human Relations has a long history of bringing together social scientific disciplines to enable a better understanding and
complexities of human issues. Teachers can make significant improvements in their classrooms by utilizing human
relations approaches. The most important component is to carry out a well-planned program that promotes better
relationships between individuals of all ethnicities, beliefs, and socioeconomic levels. To do this, it may be necessary to
modify the viewpoints of individuals in the school community. School faculty can strengthen human relations in the
classroom in five ways:

(1) promote harmonious interaction among populations of learners by emphasizing the importance of different thinking
and creativity; (2) provide opportunities for students to role play in order to deepen their understanding of others and
develop a willingness to actually engage with their classmates; (3) maintain a good rapport with the community and
uphold a positive image for school community relations; (4) provide an example of willingness to change personal
attitudes and accommodate other members of the school family; and (5) maintain a good rapport with the community and
uphold a positive image for school community relations.

Appended are checklists for teachers and administrators to enable them to analyze their efforts to provide the best
educational experience possible for all of their students. (3) maintain a good rapport with the community and uphold a
positive image for school community relations; (4) provide an example of willingness to change personal attitudes and
accommodate other members of the school family; and (5) maintain a good rapport with the community and uphold a
positive image for school community relations.  Checklists for teachers and administrators are included to help them
assess their efforts to deliver the best possible learning environment for all of their students.
