T - Permanent Freyssibar Anchor - en

The Freyssibar anchor system comprises a post-tensioning bar contained within a corrugated plastic sheath injected with cement grout. The anchor transfers load from the bar to the grout and then to the surrounding ground for reliable long-term retaining wall and slope stabilization. It offers maximum corrosion protection through its fully-grouted design and factory injection of cement grout around the bar. Transportation and installation are designed to be easy with pre-grouted elements that can be coupled together for lengths over 11.8 meters.

Installation:
A joint is placed on the anchor. Then the plate, whose trumpet tube is filled with wax, is fitted. The
nut is fitted, and tensioning is performed. After cutting off the extra over-length, the cap is fixed
onto the plate, with a seal, and filled with wax. If a long cap is used, the over-length behind the nut
enables the tension in the anchor to be measured or adjusted.
